a great song STILL. I hadn't heard it in like 2 years somehow, and listened to it a couple times today.... it gave me that special feeling only certain songs can. I mean, i know it is jacked obviously, and i know Puff can't rap, but i still think this song is incredible.

I agree this is a tight song.

This is prolly the only Puff song I can stand. I heard it on the radio the other day and it sounded just as fresh and just as dope as it did the first time I heard it. I'm not the biggest Puffy fan but he used that sample brilliantly imo, but the most important thing about the song is the fact that it was about Biggie, I think it captured how many of his followers were feeling and still feel about the loss of him. And Faith's voice just comes across as kind of angelic. Classic stuff.

good track. second best big tribute song.

He prolly means We'll Always Love Big Poppa by The Lox.....a great song and on of the only Lox songs i have ever liked.
-
I can't really front at all, that whole puff daddy album was dope back then. That fast track "momma never told me" or whatever it was called, was really good, too... all the biggie tracks were good, it was just a good album. I really like the Rock remix of all about the benjamins too.
-
Word, its a great song no doubt.

Puff is wack........but on this song......he came out strong for Biggie. it was a classic and hella tight track for a well deserved rapper Notorious B.I.G. babbbababby!!!!!!!

Did anyone see the performance of this song Puffy did with Sting at the MTV Awards that year? That was a great performance, even though it was Puffy.
-
Honestly I hated this song when it came out. I was riding Pac's dick too hard '96-'97 so I hated everything about Bad Boy. Now when I look at it I love the beat but Puff has got to go.

What straight man would openly admit to riding another mans dick? I mean yah youre a Pac fan..but to say "i was riding Pac's dick too hard" is just really odd and creepy--and homoerotic..in a real way.

....people dont half need to be mo open minded.......

Dre never wrote that track "The Message" which was for his own brother, but i'm pretty damn sure he had alot of involvement in what he wanted the outcome to sound like, and i'm sure the same goes for Puffy.

Puff and Sauce Money wrote the lyrics, Puff told him what he wanted to say and how he felt, Sauce wrote the shit. Puff wanted this to sound tight, and he knows he can't write for shit........
And yo, the beat is from the Sting/Police song, "Every Breath yuo take", not "I'll Be Watching You". All good......peace
