-
its tagged with whoo kid :-X
-
Looking forward to this...
Not so much now that I heard its tagged :-|
-
This is pretty dope in a laid back r nb way. That Michael Jackson freestyle is fire, 50 definnitely back on his shit when he spitting hard. "Touch Me" is heavy. "Put That Work In" is the direction I wanna see BISD go in
-
Better then War Angel. Not feeling all of it.
It ends strong. Touch me and Put that Work In are dope.
-
I hope they release a version w/o wack ass Whoo Kid. :-X
(One of the reasons War Angel LP was dope)
-
Whoo Kid isn't that bad on it; it's very tolerable.
but dope shit; much better than War Angel, better than Terminate On Sight & better than Curtis. 8)
makes me anticipate Before I Self Destruct even more. 8)

Word I just listened to it, Still sucks to have him on it....
His "Whooooooooooooooooooooo Kid!" call makes my fucken skin crawl. ;D
(I expected the worst)
That said, It's cool... Got that "Deeper Than Rap" vibe.
(I know 50 was bumping that album)
-
^yeah, but this is hard to hate on.
i don't see what part of this anyone could point out & be like "wow, that's weak".
i hope his next single is on some G shit & not some In Da Club II attempt or some weak bitch track. 8)
-
good mixtape
-
who was the bitch on "Touch Me"?
& was it two different girls? one of the hook & another on the verse?
-
It's cool, I liked War Angel better though...
-
It's cool, I liked War Angel better though...
fair enough, War Angel had a more hood, gangsta feel to it; where this has a smoother feel, plus a lot of MJ lol.

Yeah, War angel was more hardcore..
That track "I line niggas, I do my homework I find niggas" from war angel i got on repeat ;D
-
^i still got that on repeat myself; that's just a sick track! :o 8)
-
Na best track on war angel was talking in codes "die nigga die fly pelican fly/when i pull it eat a bullit dont question me why"
Gotta love the scarefacre referance lol.
Down loading 4eva king now, will post my thoughts in abit.
-
'im paranoid' is dope!
-
After a quick listen im definatly seeing that 50 is improving on his lyrics!, i prefered war angel but still feeling it as a whole and its free!!!
As for whoo kid he nearlly ruins the tape in my opinion, why does he feel the need to brign it back!! half way through the first verse and them gun shots are irratating.
Other that another solid effort from fif.....keep it coming.
-
who was the bitch on "Touch Me"?
& was it two different girls? one of the hook & another on the verse?
Foxy Brown & Case. ("Touch Me Tease Me")
-
dis is kinda wack.......WAR angel is much more better

Am I just bullshitting or did he say something about 3 mixtapes?
Yeah, these are much better than what you could ask for from 50 Cent nowadays.
-
Damn this tape is dope, good summertime music 8) I'm only halfway in atm though
-
Props for posting this, woof. +1. I really liked "War Angel," so I'm gonna check this out.
-

thanks man that was buggin the shit out of me +1
also if you can reccomend any other titles or artist names that are similar to this sound id appreciate it, this shit is bangin haha
-
^
here is some classic new jack swing tracks that have that similar sound
Al B. Sure! - Off On Your Own Girl
Tammy Lucas Feat Teddy Riley - Is It Good To You
Guy - Groove Me
Troop - Attitude
Father MC - I'll Do 4 U
Father MC - Everything's Gonna Be Alright
thats just some songs...just look up New Jack Swing and Uptown Records and you will find countless tracks. This stuff was huge in the late 80s to early 90s so there is huge amount of tracks like this
-
Good looks man i'mma have to do some digging. I was trying to find this Jeff Redd song but i couldn't. I only found one of his albums and that song wasn't on there.

No DJ version of the mixtape:

This tape is pretty good. 50's stepped it up a bit this time around. The only complaint I got is how many of the tracks have just 1 verse from 50, but several minutes of pretty much the original new jack swing tracks they used for the beat following that verse. I wanna hear rap, not new jack swing. The new jack swing beats go well together with 50's raps though, can't front on that.
-
this is a lot worse than War angel if you ask me.
this might be the worst 50 cent release IMO

I would rather hear original tracks for the rest song than Fiddy talking shit in the end like he usually does.

This shits all over War Angel tbf, that was straight trash, atleast this is cohesive and 50 actually sounds kinda interested for once
-
wow this shit is really fucking good props on the no dj
-
Really enjoying this, more than War Angel also
50 seems like hes actually thinkin about his lyrics
-
Much, much better than War Angel. He sounds less forced and he sounds fly over soulful beats.
-
The more I hear these untagged mixapes, the more I begin to cement my feelings that I only liked 50 for the production value (the Aftermath experience)...
-
I liked "War Angel" a lot better.
-
I liked "War Angel" a lot better.
depends on your taste.
War Angel was a lot harder & had a more grimey & G'd up sound to it.
Forever King was A LOT smoother, used some MJ, but stayed G. 8)

And that explains why I like it more, 50 is at his best IMO when he's doin what I bolded..

i guess his best G'd up music is better than his best smooth shit; but only a few off of War Angel hit me like "dayym, that's that good shit!"
i was feelin' his smoother side a lot on this tape; but both were real good, for my ears anyway & got be anticiapating BISD more now. 8)
-
^I still think BISD will be typical mainstream 50 more than likely. I'll give it a fair chance though because I don't dislike 50. Will see.

BSID will be just like these mixtapes

There were some snippets that were supposed to be on BISD, they sounded pretty much the same caliber.

that's my favorite song off the tape, then Get The Money.
-
