Thought I'd post it here because a) he produces for all coasts and b) this is where I post the most. This is only scratching the surface. He has so much dope shit that he has moved into my top 5 producers of all time.

agreed...ALC is def. in my top 5 all time producers...too many bangers man...and the heat keeps coming, nearly stole the show on OB4CL2 and Slaughterhouse imo

I think he did on Slaughterhouse because there wasn't particularly much competition, production was average at best. Can't recall the production on OB4CL2 at the moment (even though i only listened to it 2 weeks ago), but as great as his beat was, it didn't really go with the vibe of the album.

Yeah, ALC is def. a top 5 producer, but he doesn't get his proper due, he keeps it too real.
He's producing for hiphop's finest, even if they're practically unknown, and when a more mainstream A-lister gets a beat from him, he doesn't compromise with radio demands.

alchemist has been one of my favorite producers for a minute now. he can do that chopped up ASR-10 sound and then drop some space age shit like Follow The Dollar or that joint he did for weezle. IMHO, he's just as great as a producer as most of my other favorites (erick sermon, muggs, rza, etc)

Hahaha. But he's not the only one to blame. Most of the production CV's in there haven't been updated for a few years. I do actually really want to take control of some of them and sort them out but it would take so long. I think its only the Dre and Premo ones that are up to date.

Hehe, don't sweat it, and welcome back..  8)
I think I'm guilty of C.V. neglection myself, but I would like to see an updated ALC C.V., as he's one of my favs, maybe you can 'borrow' a list on the net somewhere for comparison..

Word, just give me a word about which ones you'd like to takeover, could use a little shake-up in the C.V. section.

It would be one at a time. Leggy can keep the Alchemist 1, to much shit done by him. I'll take the Pete Rock one for now I think as the guy doing it never posts anymore.

EDIT: I'll take the Hi-Tek one also if possible.

yeah Alchemist is definitely one of the most consistent producers in the game. Has been for a decade now. When you see his name in the producer credit you know you're getting a good song.
