Mexico vs Italy (  430 am)

I'm nervous for this match... Italy is a good team. They won it all last time if I remember correctly. But Mexico has upset before. Los Latinos Unidos!!!

Nah France won it last time

I like Mexico - they embody the spirit of football, exciting attacking football, funny fans in big hats

But they'll still get they motherfuccin asses whipped! lol

I did 63 out of 64 last time, but that was in France so the matches were on at a reasonable time for us in England (as the French are our lovely, charming close neighbours!)

I'll see about 3 quarters this time

lol not even, they will lose but they wont get whipped. If they pass the first round, they will face 1 and 2 from Group D. Thats portugal's group basically. So if Mexico gets second they will most likely face Portugal. They wont get whipped by them, it will be a close game

Croatia?

Boksic is, even at 35 or however old he is, still a class above any Mexican

?

What?

All I said is Boksic is better than any mexican player - where does passing come into it?

Blanco is pretty old - but is A LEGEND for that move he does (forgot the name) - that's what football is all about EXCITEMENT

Borgetti is decent, but nothing special, I like Aspe and you gotta like Campos the keeper (is he still the number 1 keeper for Mexico?)

But I mean Croatia have players playing in the top European leagues for top European teams - Zivkovic played in the bloody European Cup final last night

However the heat could be a big factor - and that will work Mexico's way

Don't underestimate Ecuador either, they finished second in S America

Italy have the competition in the bag though

Blanco is not that old, hes 30.  Oscar Perez is the keeper, he is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than Campos. In the Defense they have Rafa Marquez he plays for Monaco, they paid big bucks to take him away from Atlas (a team from mexico) , the whole defense is young. Borguetti is only good against small team, he wont do shit agains italy and Croatia, but Blanco, Arrellano, and Palencia will. Mexico has a very strong group

Campos will prolly start in some games prolly not all of them but he will start in sum

CAMPOS was tha BEST goalkeeper in mexico for years but after he got divorced he started drinking alot n didnt give a fuck about soccer so he didnt stop  a goal for shit like for a year but right now hes goin back 2 being tha best keeper in MEXICO (in my eyes he will always b #1)

I remember when they were trying to get him playing as a striker in USA '94 but FIFA said he wasn't allowed

Mexico DOES have a good team they've won their last 2 games theyve played n they controlled all of tha game n they won agaist 2 really good teams they beat COLOMBIA 2-1(CAMPOS was tha GK in this game) n then last night they defeated BOLIVIA 1-0 it should of been like 5 -0 but whe werent really playin offense like we should have been but we controlled THA WHOLE GAME N then this sunday we go against a really strong team of MILAN wich were gonna CRUSH

but 2 all of u sayin that MEXICO isnt gonna b affective just wait N see i9m not sayin were gonna take tha cup or anything like that but like tha homie JAVI said we will get 2 tha quarter finals trust me

LMAO @ Colombia and Bolivia "really good teams"

HaHA They're both SHIT

Oh and Milan will only field their non world cup players - which means that they'll have a below par side

WTF are Mexico playing Milan for?  This near to the world cup you need to be playing other countries

to have a feel for an Italian style team. They played Columbia and Bolivia to prepare for Ecuador.  They played Bulgaria to get a feel for Croatia. They play similair. They might not be the best of the teams out there but they are gettin a feel of their opponents style of play.  Mexico plays with pride, unlike other teams that play for the money

LoL name 1 team at national level that play for money

Mexico could be a MAJOR player on the international scene.  The problem is (for whatever reason), hardly any (or none) of your players play for top teams in top European leagues
And
You play against SHIT in competitve matches

Once every 2 years you get a challenge in the Copa America, but apart from that you play against jokers.  Who's the second best team from your region?  USA?  Costa Rica?  LMAO

dont act like if Europe is hard to get in, i think 16 yeams from Eurupe make it to the World CUp. U only have to be decent. and dont u know Rafa Marquez? He is easily one of the top 10 defenders in the World. He plays for Monaco. and dont you get it........

Mexico vs Bulgaria (to prepare for Croatia, they play similiar)
Mexico vs Bolivia/ Columbia (they play silmilar to Ecuador)
Mexico vs Milan (to get the style of rough defense from Italy).  SOme of you guys only see mexico is a shitty ass team. have u watched them play? OF COURSE many European teams are waaay better than Mexico. but u know damn well in the game of soccer sometimes skill doesnt win all the games.

Of course I get it lol

England are playing Camerron to get ready for Nigeria

I was laughing cause the guy said Colombia and Bolivia were really good

Monaco are a decent team in Europes fifth league.  Rafa Marquez - lol @ being one of the top 10 defenders in the world

Nesta  (ITA)
Cannavaro (ITA)
Campbell  (ENG)
Hyppia (FIN)
Desailly (FRA)
Stam (NED)
Andersson (SWE)
Ferdinand (ENG)
Southgate (ENG)
Thuram (FRA)
Lucio (BRA)
Novotny (GER)
Ayala (ARG)
Gallas (FRA)
Hierro (SPA)
Blanc  (FRA)
Montero (URU)
Maldini  (ITA)
Iuliano  (ITA)
Materazzi (ITA)

There's twenty players.  There is no way he is better than ten of those guys.

Errr, Europe get the most spots because they have the best teams.  I wouldn't even give Asia the 4 or 5 spots it gets.

I am not bashing Mexico.  I like them.  They nearly made the 1/4s last time.
