Title: Bishop Lamont on Felli Fell's Sirius radio show. Label/Album details inside.
Post by: Woodrow on June 25, 2005, 06:43:40 PM
He was on there, sounded excited as hell. They kept dropping hints like:

"I can't tell you where I’m at, but you do the Math. The Math get your calculator out!!!"

Then Felli said some shit about how Bishop Lamont was sick and he needed to go see the doctor.

They say he's still in a bidding war "kinda." Make of that what you will. Bishop listed off like 10 different labels that were trying to get at him.

Bishop said there was gonna be some: Quik, Battlecat, Warren G production on his album among others.

They played that "It's Bishop" that new Storch produced track, and that Gorilla Pimpin' track.

I gotta roll out, so I'm gonna miss the last part, but it was a dope interview and got me really excited for the album.

Well... its kinda smart. He probably want to see how the beef at the interscope camp is gonna play out and how it might affect dre's label... while at the same time searching other deal options.

Hell yeah that makes sense to me....Aftermath sounds best of course, but how many artists have they screwed over, and how many never ever came out? Plus, what if the other companies are offerin him much better deals as far as the money and incentives and benifits go? You don't just go with whoever has the best name and what soudns best, you gotta weigh it all out and make a good decision. What if the Math tried to lock him up, or have to much control over him and the way his album turned out? It's many many many different reasons involved and hella politics to deal with.

It's kinda different with Bishop then i.e. Hittman or Joe Beast, cause they didn't have no hype before Aftermath, but Bishop is getting loads of press-time as we speak..

I think he'd do good if he signed with Dre... and i also think an album would get released...

Hittman didn´t have any hype before Aftermath but he had a pretty big buzz after 2001 dropped.
