LeBron literally looks like a fag when he flops, though. It's almost rupaulesque, u gotta admit

Was there a call made on that play?

That was bad. A player as good as LeBron shouldn't be doing that. More focused on flopping than winning it looked like.

It's just sad to watch NBA these days... how the fuck we get here from the bad boy Pistons or Pat Riley's Knicks days ???

This is a disgrace to the game of basketball - players with this kind of talent should be ashamed of themselves for doing that shit!

Chris Paul is by far the worst flopper I've seend tho - he's absolutely terrible with the shit he's doing...

I will say one thing, I've tried to look for a while, but you can't find footage of a Kobe flop.

I will say one thing, I've tried to look for a while, but you can't find footage of a Kobe flop.

Because Kobe dosen't play like that - he's from the oldschool and started his career when the game was still at his peak. Doing shit like that back in the day would made you look like a complete retard - now everybody seems to be ok with it. The NBA should banned and fined anybody who's trying to attempt that kind of shit... it's a disgrace to the game itself! And you wonder why so many great players from the past have issues with how the game is played today... it's really a bad joke.

That's why I've been telling y'all - half of those pussies wouldn't even be allowed to play durning the golden era of basketball. Yeah, the got talent and size and all that shit, but they don't have the heart, the passion, the desire, the work ethic players before them had.

Kobe plays like the game should have been played - he's one of the last few guys left with that kind of dedication and respect to the game of basketball itself. Yeah, he's bitching to the refs about fouls every now and then, but it's his right to do that as a elite players - it's no different from the old days.

But he plays like a man among dudes with the same amount of talent, who rather play like pussies flopping left and right.. it's pathetic. The NBA will reach it's all-time low once guys like Kobe, Tim, KG and couple other guys will quit the game for good... shit is trash already but when this day will come, it will be pretty much unwatchable.

ya it ruins the games, but you can't hate anymore because PAU GASOL is getting ignored everytime he goes up for a rebound and yells OUCH!!! Lakers have been in alot of games because of PAU and i gotta say he's one of the pioneers of flopping along with vlade divac, manu ginobbli and the rest of those dirty euros (no offense)

I remember in 1996 when Kobe and Fisher came out, Fisher was a master of taking a charge. I rarely saw him do it when he got older, but in his youth that guy would plant his feet infront of anyone from Shawn Kemp to Karl Malone and take a charge infront of the circle. Kobe and Fisher played the game hard and physical and would do whatever it took to get the job done. They don't make them like that anymore.

Gasol came in flopping like a fish, but years of playing with Kobe has kept that stuff to a min. He doesn't flop as much as he tries to sell contact. The difference is saying ouch and falling to the floor are completely different.

Don't watch the Thunder. When he was with the Lakers, he still did, but not as often. Though that can be attributed to the game changing and not as many big men driving the lane and instead shooting jumpers. The couple of times I've watched the Thunder though, he must not have had a chance to take a hard charge, because I just didn't see him do it.

lol...no he aint as talented. physically? yes..fundamentally, his actual basketball skills are no where near kobe's. and even if, u here makin it seem like he's out there playing with a bunch of dudes with the same amount of talent lmao. how much did u watch kobe in his prime? u had to take a shot, didnt ya? if u wanna play it like that then charles barkley, karl malone, hakeem olajuwon, etc. were all as talented as MJ.

Dude, are you nuts? I didn't took any shot at Kobe, stop being so obsessed with everything related to him. I've said LeBron is just as talented as him which is true. I not talking about fundamentals or work ethic but pure basketball talent. Those two are considered the greatest players in post-Jordan era, with Kevin Durant following.

LeBron has all the tools to be as successful as Kobe - will he achieve it? Will he have the same amount of impact on the league as Kobe had for the past 10+ years? It's hard to tell at this moment, plus they are different kind of players and I don't compare them.

I'm watching Kobe since his debut season - I know what he's done and how great of a player he is, you don't have to tell me about it. He's probably my favorite player to watch cause he plays like the game was supposed to be played, without any flops or none of that other bullshit. But I'm giving credit where credit is due - LeBron is an unbelievable talent and can be compare easily to Kobe as far as pure basketball skills goes.

If he'll develop a work ethic like Kobe, stopped flopping and just play the game like he supposed to - sky's the limit.

Oh, and unlike you - I don't consider "Hakeem Olajuwon were as talented as Jordan" statement as an insult. It's true, he's def up there with MJ as far as pure basketball skills goes. Same goes for all the other great players of the 90's - Jordan separated himself from the rest of the league due his incredible work ethic and his ridiculous competitive drive. Despite being the best player in the world, he still worked harder than anyone else on his game - he pushed himself beyond his limits, which helped him get to that next level.
No difference with Kobe - his work ethic still separates him from the rest of NBA superstars like LeBron or Durant, who have the same amount of pure basketball talent as he has. They aren't fully developed yet and need to work on their game, so maybe some day they will be up there with him and other NBA all-time greats.

So, like you see NIK - I'm not hating of your idol like you pretending, I'm not knocking him or nothing. I'm just trying to be OBJECTIVE - something you probably will never achieve..

And you're forgetting the millions of times he drives, draws contact, falls down and throws his hands up like the ref has to be fixing the game in order to have missed that call lol.

I saw that so many times, and he fell. You can tell by his leg motion that it was fall, not a flop.

Like I said before, talent-wise LeBron is def up there with Kobe - no question about it. Durant is also coming... Kobe is still one of the best players in the league, despite he's past his prime, but his work ethic is his secret to the longevity - that's why he's able to still hang around younger stars with fresh legs, even tho he has so many games under his belt.

I don't take jabs at anybody - I'm objective, which is something you have problem with, anytime a discussion like that pops out.

Dude, I'm telling you for the 3rd and the last time - when it comes to pure basketball talent, LeBron is def up there with Kobe. Durant is coming and in the next couple years, he probably take the torch from James as the best basketball player in the NBA.

If you think Kobe is head and shoulders above anyone else, who plays in this league today - you must be on drugs. I may not like LeBron James or the way he plays, but I def don't have a problem to give him his props - and that is called objectivy. He the best player in the NBA right now and his talent is def up there with the all-time greats, including Kobe by the way.

He dosen't have the same characteristics and he still needs to improve his basketball fundamentals and work ethic, but when it comes to a natural talent to the game of basketball, he's def up there with the Top.

The thing is, you will never ever give him his props because like you said in other thread - your a Kobe fan so there's no chance for you to get along with a LeBron fan and made a conclusion in some areas of a discussion. I'm a MJ fan but I still don't have a problem giving props to other players, including some of the "Air-apparents". I can bash them if they do something wrong and give them props if they make something right.

Flopping is a bad thing and people with that amount of basketball talent like LeBron should be ashamed of themselves for even trying to do it - that's why I give props to Kobe for not playing that way and keep it oldschool - simple as that.

If you could made statements like that every now and then and just chill the fuck out with every topic regarding Kobe Bryant - people would appreciate you more and then we can make a legit discussion, without turning everything to a "Kobe is the greatest and that's it" thread.

ive given lebron plenty of props...he's a beast and up there with some of the best ever. but he is not kobe/mj/magic/bird status and thats all there is to it. and that's comin from an objective stand-point, it has nothin to do with kobe. i still think durant has the potential to get there. i would think the same of lebron if i were a charlotte bobcat fan, shit dont matter, i'm a knowledgeable basketball head and my opinion will always be respected.
