Title: "DPG - Tha Last Of The Pound" a bootleg release???
Post by: Desoto Loco on March 08, 2003, 01:06:51 PM
I just received today my copy of this album, but it looks real fukked up. The covers are photo-copied and are in bad quality and the cd also looks pretty shitty. I got all DPG releases and this is the baddest mastering of a cd.
Can someone who got this album post pics of the cd and the cover. I dont know if I received a faggot ass bootleg or if it is like it is, bad master'd. Please help me

Word, my copy of WRWU2 was lookin alrite too. It is much better master'd then the DPG cd. The covers of WRWU2 aint photo-copied, they are on some real booklet paper and look more legit. Well I will wait till i get the Daz EP, when it looks like the DPG cd, then it is like that.

His album is still in work, he is on L.A. Confidential with Knoc-Turnal. But if you want to know some about his appearances, check this thread:

I just received the Daz EP now too, is master'd the same way like the DPG CD, but it looks better because its a photo cover. BTW, I received also the Against The Grain album of Kurupt, its master'd the same way, so DPG Recordz released Kurupts album? I guess that Trigger Men and Dogg Pound Records inprints are fakes by Daz. Damn, Daz is a crazy ass muthafucka.  ;D

Thats exactly right...all the cd artwork is the same, and they fuck the spines up. I posted this on DPG, and AG replied "Bitch ass printers" lol but didnt deny my point that they came from the same people...

So is there not like a booklet for the Last of The Pound album? After the decent packaging that came with the Dillinger & Young Gotti and the WRWU compilation I was expecting the same from these new releases.

Oh and DPG aren't the only ones who fuck up the spine on cds, my Escape From Death Row compilation has the spine up the wrong way and so does my Jay Z - Reasonable Doubt album.
