What did you guys think of the Charity Album that Death Row put together for Christmas in December 1996?
It was pretty cool how they donated all the album profits to local charities...Be Thankful & Santa Claus Goes Straight to The Ghetto were good tracks....overall a good Christmas Album, Ive been knocking it in the car last few days.

some dope tracks for sure, the Santa Claus track is definitely an any time of the year track as far as being a dope overall song...I Wish by Tha Dogg Pound as well and OFTB kept it gangsta 8)

nate dogg came correct on that one

It's a good album but I've only listened to it once this Christmas.
I think Danny Boy has the best tracks on there, he suits the theme of the album being an R'n'B singer.
Also the J-Flexx and Barney Rubble track is a highlight.

I play it 2 days a year, today is one of them

Agree guys, some good bangers on the album for sure.... the OFTB track was tight along with the Nate Dogg, Dogg Pound & Six Feet Deep Tracks.... I was playing this album yesterday and will likely play it again today for Christmas.... Hard to believe the album dropped over 20 years ago like alot of the other DR Gems.... Nice to see that we are all keeping the DR Legacy alive buy hearing the unreleased stuff and still banging the classic hits!

Has some filler but I've always had a soft spot for this album. Very sentimental and goes great with the season. I bump it every year. Has some standout cuts like the lead single, Dogg Pound "I Wish" and the Nate and Butch callabo "Be Thankful" is a deeply moving track--that I read once in an interview that they were actually recording that cut as news of 2pac's death came to them in the studio.
Classic album. Although I don't remember the album actually being released. I remember the Death Row Greatest Hits album being the big stocking stuffer that Christmas. I remember seeing the video a couple times on TV but didn't know there was an album. I stumbled upon this album at a used record store summer of 97'.
