What song did  "Just a Moment" sample, because that is the same sample that Kanye ("Hear The Song") used for Freeway's album but on the booklet, the song listed no sample.

Props, though the first list was correct, it just lacked co-producers/musicians.

it's true... for a fuckin' 2cd, they should have put more music on it. this would have also fitted on ONE cd  ???

very good album but i agree that if  nas would've put all the best songs on one cd then he would've had a definite classic. i think that its definitely one of the best double cds to come out.

Songs like the bonustracks don't fit in at all and that's fucking frustrating when you're chilling out listening to the album, he would have better kept those off the album. The album's got a great atmosphere, and then there's those bonustracks doing something entirely different.  ::)

this album is the biggest waste of time.. i fell asleep listenin to this shit, very dissapoingting from nas..

the onli track that woke me up was suicide bounce, thats dope.
Title: ACTUALLY.... Suicide Bounce is sample from....
Post by: BigNic on January 31, 2008, 01:31:44 AM

...Danny Elfman's main theme from 'Dead Presidents' -- the Hughes brothers movie. It's been modified slightly, perhaps so
they didn't have to deal with copyright issues but if you compare the two, it's immediately clear.

It's the last track on the Dead Presidents Soundtrack (which otherwise contains various artists).
If you want to compare 'Suicide Bounce' to the Danny Elfman theme check out the free sample on amazon.com
and scroll into it about 14 seconds:

  http://www.amazon.com/Dead-Presidents-Music-Motion-Picture/dp/B000002TWC/ref=m_art_pr_4

So I guess it's a technically a "variation" on the Dead Presidents main theme by Danny Elfman.

Peace
