Title: U.S. toll hits 100; 4th deadliest month of war
Post by: Lieutenant Abdul-Shakur on October 30, 2006, 10:37:55 AM
BAGHDAD, Iraq - A bomb tore through food stalls and kiosks in a sprawling Shiite slum Monday, killing at least 33 people, while the U.S. military announced the death of the 100th servicemember in Iraq this month.

The 6:15 a.m. explosion in Sadr City targeted poor Shiites who gather there each morning hoping to be hired as construction workers. At least 59 people were wounded, said police Maj. Hashim al-Yasiri.

Meanwhile, new details emerged about a U.S. soldier who went missing last week, sparking a massive manhunt. A woman claiming to be his mother-in-law said Monday that the soldier was married to a Baghdad college student and was with the young woman and her family when hooded gunmen handcuffed and threw him in the back seat of a white Mercedes. The marriage would violate military regulations.

Have you ever thought of how many innocent people your "best buds" have been killing over there?  Or do you only have concern for your own self and your own friends?

Who is in who's country?  And who is occupying who?

You are misplacing your anger at the wrong person...it's more of who's really responsible...try bush.

its a vicious cycle. But its unfair to place this on the troops, they are just doin their job, trying to make a living like any of us. Tho you do have a point, the media focuses on the dead soldiers, altho the civilian number is over half a million ( and Bush says only 50,000). But any Muslim should not direct their anger to the West in general, because we didnt want a war. We hate whats going on just as much as you, directing your anger towards the West will only isolate yourselves. But thats exactly what my homie Zionists want, to isolate Islam from the Western peoples, so there will be no re-course through democratic institutions.

yes, I'm white, from the suburbs, and I converted to Islam when I was 18, in Feb. 2001.

Actually I had never even met a Muslim until after I graduated highschool.  The city I grew up in was 98% white people.   The only time I ever heard about Muslims in school was during the first Gulf War, my teacher said the people over there were "strange" because they stopped everything they were doing 5 times a day and started praying.  When I pictured that in my mind, a whole city stopping everything they were doing to pray to God 5 times a day, something told me that was what religion was supposed to be like.  Because if you truly worshipped God, you would be willing to put anything aside for God at any time.  God would be the most important thing in your life.  To me, Christians only have God on Sunday, and then they go back to work on Monday as an American.

Also, Malcolm X was an influence on me (his movie was always on HBO during the mid-90's), when he talked about the Oneness of God, and the Oneness of mankind.  Also, after I graduated highschool I started a new job, and the first day I met an employee who was a Muslim from West Africa; he didn't even tell me he was a Muslim, but his whole countenance had a special light that automatically indicated to me that he was the most righteous person I had ever met in my life.  Then I started reading the Qu'ran and realized that unlike the Bible this was a book that was very logical and scientific.  The psychology was deep, it is a confirmation of things that have came before, and an analysis of all things and ways of life, and it always pulls you back into focus anytime you start going astray.

Allah giudes whomever he wills, and whomever Allah giudes nobody can lead astray.  The special prize that Allah gives people is not money or anything material; those things can be given even to the worst kind of people.  The best gift Allah can give a person is Iman, which means belief in Allah.  This is what should be our greatest concern.

Actually, Allah said all white people are devilish by nature and that Yakub made you that way.  And Allah told the GODs like myself that we must kill you all on Judgment Day.  You will not be spared.

you see bryan, this is your problem, you grew up in such a sheltered life that the only way you think you can reach out to the world is by taking things to another extreme. you should come out to cali and smoke some purp with the philipinos and ese's and cool white people, not like your midwest bretheren. religion is played out in most of cali cuz we see the bigger picture. you wanna go vacation in rhiad and shit but youre overlooking whats good in your own homeland. its frustrating because i hate to see people get so turned around in life. but whatever, you probably don't contribute much towards anything so youre no big loss, but if you wanna come out to cali, hit me up, i'll show you around
