This must be fake coz there is no Neptunes production listed. It is confirmed that there is at least 1...
-
Wasn't this supposed to be Snoop-only?

Everlast is gonna have a song on this album ;D
So I’m sitting around a couple nights ago when I get a call from the one and only Snoop Dogg . He’s been talking about me writing a song for him for a while so I sent him one and he freaked out stopped the mastering ( the last stage of mixing ) so that he could get my song on his album . So I haven’t really slept in 3 or so days but the song came out killer . I can’t say much else but his album comes out in march so you won’t have to wait long ….. got to go and make sure the mixes are right … Big Things Poppin in 08 people I’m feeling good ….

It doesn't look so bad IMO......Rick Rock, Teddy Riley, Khao, DJ Quik & Terrace Martin are good. It may not be Blue Carpet Treatment, but I would doubt it'll be as bad as R&B.
-
The Neptunes have 2 tracks on the album: Sets Up and the 2nd single Feet Don't Fail Me Now with Nelly, Pharrell and Charlie Wilson

Added cover. ???

Updated with Amazon tracklist.
I'm thinking:
Let It Out= Breathe In, Breathe Out
Ridin In My Chevy = Ridaman
but who knows....
-
My Medicine = Johnny Cash, am I correct?
It's produced by Whitey Ford.
Superstar entertainer and hip hop icon Snoop Dogg readies for his highly anticipated album "Ego Trippin'" releasing on March 11th through Doggystyle/Geffen. Early buzz from industry insiders hint at a new sound that only an artist like Snoop could pull off - including collaborations with legendary producer Teddy Riley and artist Whitey Ford who bring out different sides of the veteran rapper. These unexpected pairings sparked creativity and magic in the studio which translated into an amazingly diverse and innovative album.
Tha Boss Dogg titled the album "Ego Trippin'" because this time around, he is doing just that. After 16 years in the game, Snoop consistently proves himself as not only an entertainer, but a pioneer in hip hop. On Snoop's ninth studio offering, the West Coast rapper is taking chances no other rap artist could pull off, and showing fans a new side we have never seen before. "Ego Trippin'" showcases groundbreaking material and if the first single is any indication - fans will embrace the new sounds. Snoop says, "I named the album Ego Trippin' because after staying relevant for 16 years, I can afford to take chances and have some fun. I always made music to win in my neighborhood but after all these years I needed to do something bigger - I had to get out of my usual gangster zone without losing who I am, this time around I am going to win worldwide."
Following the smash first single, "Sensual Seduction," produced by Shawty Redd and featuring Snoop crooning the lyrics, comes the highly anticipated second single, "Life of Da Party," produced by Scoop DeVille and featuring another West Coast champ Too $hort.
'Throughout the album, Snoop takes listeners on a musical journey - from funk to eighties vibes to even country music. Forever a fan of Teddy Riley, Snoop was excited to be able to collaborate with the musical genius on this album. Throughout the recording process, they had such great chemistry in the studio that QDT Muzic was birthed - an entity comprised of DJ Quik, Snoop and Teddy that is responsible for overseeing the entire album. Snoop came up with the song concepts, Teddy added his touches to the production and Quik mastered the album. Ego Trippin' marks the first time since "Doggystyle," Snoop's first album, that one individual mastered the entire package - adding a continuity to the sounds that play more like a movie instead of a music recording.
Thematically on Ego Trippin', Snoop is paying tribute to those who inspired him over the years. The musically rich song "Cool" is an interpolation of the classic song originally recorded by The Time. On it, Snoop sings more than raps and the results are phenomenal. It is a song made to dance to and will transport listeners to the eighties with one listen. Another surprise song is entitled "Johnny Cash" and was written and produced by Whitey Ford. The song is a country love ballad and is unlike anything anyone has ever heard from a hip hop superstar. One of Snoop's album favorites is "Say Goodbye," featuring R&B great Charlie Wilson of The Gap Band. Snoop says, "This song makes me want to cry every time I hear it. It is a reflection of my life and how I have grown as not only an artist but also a man - it is about me staying true to where I came from while having to accept where I am in my life today, it's deep."
As if Snoop were not busy enough, he is also experiencing major success on the small screen with his E! reality show "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood." The show takes viewers into the life of Snoop and his family, comprised of his wife and three kids, to prove he is really a down to earth family man. The show can be seen on Sundays at 10:30pm on E! Networks.

Teddy Riley did "Cool" and "Make it Good"
-
Saadiq , Snoop and Quik were supposed to work together... so Quik probably did "Waste of Time"

Production credits look good to me. Can't wait 'til it drops. 8)
-
Clean version is out. As expected, this is kinda disappointed, just an ego trippin....couldn't have said it better !
-
This isn't that great. But "Cool" is so good I don't care about anything else. Oh and that Rick Rock beat is THE BOMB. Rick Rock makes some of the best beats in the game.
-
Not sure, but "Deez Hollywood nights" seems to be from the hands of Nottz.
-
^^ That's right sir, sounds Nottzish. Confirmed by Nottz myspace as well.
-
Deez Hollywood Nights is so funky. Nottz at it again 8)
-
on Snoop's TV show they had footage of them recording
and Soopafly was playing the keys on this one beat, of course Snoop had to leave it off, sounded good
-
19. One Chance (Make It Good)
Produced by FREQUENCY (Not Teddy Riley!!)
Just wanted to correct that....

As a long time snoop fan...after first listen this album is very dissapointing...I see what he was trying to do with the concept of the album....songs with that sexual eruption sound....It could have been a great idea, but the songs just don't do anything for me....The best tracks are the scoop deville songs...He looks like a future west coast hot producer! Go lil kid frost!
-
I knew "Those Gurlz" was Teddy and Quik
it said Scoop DeVille and it had me confused.... I would listen and think to myself no way he did this shit
-
plow da don beat is :o

actually scoop is credited as co-producer, he did the original, but clearances did not go through, so Teddy and Quik re-did it last minute.

Updated with the help of the booklet, but I don't have the extra UK track on it.
I took away some of the featurings mentioned, as they were 'additional vocals' by the booklet (i.e. Kurupt on "Press Play"). Everlast only co-wrote My Medicine. I didn't write down who did the instruments, but Terrace Martin is all over this album. And the booklet does not mention any samples for the song "Cool".

Maybe they didn't credit him, but Everlast definatly did backing vocals on his track.

And btw just so you know, Whitey Ford = Everlast

The bonus track 'Nobody Better' -
anyone know what that samples? Reminds me of 'Lost Souls' (2Pac) beat. . .

It's Chaka Khan - "Ain't Nobody"

Weak album after the first hearing.
21 tracks is waaaay too much..
I might give it a couple of more spins to see if it grows.
-
Could someone hook up the iTunes bonus track? Thanks in advance.

I swear its really hard to tell, because a lot of these sound like snoops usual rhymes, in a good way?
I'm especially curious about "let it out", cause he flowed his ass off on that track
