Nothing great. Eh. Maybe a better mix. Drums sound kind of weak. Bishop's flow is fine but content wise it's the same "I hate hip-hop MCs today" blah blah balh
I think we in the last days of time
so I'm scribbling these lines, searching hard to see the signs
buy my eyes are too red from all the drinking and partying
chicks in her 20s, her tits need a legal guardian
I'm silly for that silicone
I stay in the streets like I ain't got a fucking home
and if it's beef you ain't going fucking home
ignite that flame right, cook until your brain is gone
I think the devil is trying to kill me
cause my flow is righteous and the lords walks with me
I won't sell my soul for the dough to get on TV
I'm all about my craft, these other rappers just cheesy
a hard nigga, I never had it easy
I did it from the ground up, that's what the streets believe in me
won't compromise, kiss ass for success
a modern day Locke and I can't look back
I think we in them last days and times
cause these rappers keeping putting Baphomet in their lines
I never misstep, I can read between the lines
since you hired from a biff, you getting hits from old times
the game done changed, it ain't like it was
these niggas getting down with Beelzebub
feeling like Donny Hathaway, where's the love?
cause the moves y'all making ain't what Christians does
or what Muslim does, Hennessy Great is how I keep the buzz
nigga, fuck the fuzz (fuck em!)
naw, we don't talk to policia
snitch ass niggas making their jobs easier
hang us from the cross just like old days of Ceaser
nothings changed but the translation
same heathens, demons- all legions of Satan
the battle starts now, mutherfucka, I ain't waiting

maybe its been said before somewhere else... but im guessing this version ISNT the aftermath version of reformation?

+1
Track is dope but sounds like something is off in the mix, doesn't bump like his previous shit. Cool track, typical content expected from Bishop, feeling the scratches on the hook but nothing amazing in my opinion

It's starting to make its way around the blogs

Not that great an idea for a non-mainstream rapper not to offer a free DL of their single. The whole point of the single is to hype people to buy the album right?

U Right ! ESpecially for one who was forget like Bishop lamont !

0,99 cent for a track!?come on it`s ok, all the mixtapes he put out, were free!but in my opinion, it's not the right track!the last Bishop track i'm feelin was I'm Faded (Nate Dogg R.I.P.) but Sonreal ruined the track!

Skit-So (Feat. Soul Nana)
Blow Yo Mind! (Feat. X-Zibit, Jelly Roll & Crooked I)

don't know about the title, but I've found a dl link:

enjoy 8)
btw it's a dope track, but I think Bishop should've choosen a track with better beat, something like 'Grow Up'
-
ok song, was expecting way more from him, beat is strange, and it doesnt mix with vocals very good, sounds too busy

Nice song, but I expected more for a single which appears on a Bishop album... It's especially the beat which disappoints me.
I hope the other tracks will be better

Actually much better than I expected.
Sounds perfect for an album track, not single material IMO.

I don't think it has the fire power to get people hyped up for Reformation. This Khalil wannabe beat just proves to me how amazing Khalil is.
-
Sodom and gomorrah is the reference from Bible, these kingdoms are synonymous with impenitent sin, and their fall with a proverbial manifestation of God's wrath. (according to wikipedia).

Detox has more a chance than The Reformation does.
I want this album though. Song is tight. But like a few are saying, it's nothing special.
-
Bishop lamont comes from new york ! lol it sounds like a Nottz or Just blaze beat !
not bad but too short !

i actually expected it to be released for free, strange. i'll probably buy the album if it ever drops.

yeah i don't like that either.

chance to drop? dre is never ready.
bishop is free now so i give him a bit more chance.
the content is a valid point, but the flow is finally not sloppy
maybe its been said before somewhere else... but im guessing this version ISNT the aftermath version of reformation?
what about rain, change is gonna come, u ain't fresh? ;D straight from the vault

from the damizza book it sounds like some of the assumptions about the vault might be quite far from the truth - ie there was hardly any material recorded for detox with bishop/dre and probably bishop's album too. i'm thinking there's just a lot of skeleton beats and track concepts floating about more than anything. perhaps a good amount of unfinished tracks at best.
onto this track - it's pretty good and i quite like it but like others have mentioned doesn't really strike you as single material. typical bishop fare and not the type of thing that would get your ears pricking up in anticipation of an album. production is nice but not that great. but early days?

well i'm not going to doubt that bishop recorded more than 800 songs at aftermath, but im sure bishop worked with other producers more than dre.
im sure he was with dre often though, mainly in the beginning.

just wondering, where's the video?
