If Boston can't win a game in Detroit then they lose the series.

i have a gut feeling boston is still gonna take them.
but one things for sure. none of the remaining teams, be it lakers, hornets, spurs, or pistons, are the least bit worried about the celtics at this point. they really dont even deserve to be in the play-offs anymore with how they've been playing

When the playoffs started, I said the Celtics would make it to the finals, but after watching the Celtics on the road, I'm flip-flopping to the Pistons. Detriot is good enough to beat Boston in Boston and if that happens, then the Celtics can't win 4-3.

well u already said it in ur first sentence, that was last year. i (along with about 99% of other bball fans on the planet) highly doubt detroit woulda lost to cavs again this year, but now we'll never know.
that being said tho, i'm still thinkin boston will take it, unless billups is 100% recovered

Not a chance. If anything its Sheed who will minimize KGs effectiveness. Sheed is an excellent post defender and a damn good scorer from the perimeter. KG is similar, but doesn't have the range on his jump shot that Sheed does, and he is not a great perimer defender. In order for Boston to win, its going to take a lot of great games from Pierce, who is going to have his work cut out for him against Prince. Ray Allen can't completely disappear like he did in game 7 against the Cavs either. And theyre alos going to have to figure out what to do about Hamilton and neither Allen nor Rondo are going to be very capable defenders against him. Same goes for Billups. its gonna take a lot of team defense and great defensive rotations from guys who are gonna already have their hands full for Boston to have a shot. Plsu Detroit's bench should absolutely manhandle boston's bench.

Actually I read something not too long ago that said that gray spot on Sheed's head had something to do with him being caught in the middle of gun fire back in the day. Don't know if it's trueor not, but that's just what I read.

LOL I'm sorry but the Cavs were the worst Eastern champions ever and were worse off this year especially after the trade. Delonte West is fuckin garbage and nowadays so is Ben Wallace. Joe Smith was good for the Bulls but decided he was gonna suck for Cleveland. Should we also give the Celts credit for being stretched to 7 games by a .400 team as well? Detroit is a tough veteran team and they are a COMPLETE team. they wont be able to double and triple anybody on Detroit the way they did to James and if Ray Allen is gonna be choking like he did today and has in big games throughout his entire career the Boston has their work cut out for them. This is to say nothing of the fact that boston has struggled more than any other team still in the playoffs to this point.

I disagree...I think Delonte is a solid young point guard with a bright future.

I dunno about that...Joe Smith was the best and most consistent player on the Bulls before he was traded. Wally Szczerbiak is a pure shooter who can play. Zydrunas Ilgauskas is an all-star caliber center who had a great season. Ben Wallace has been a top defender in the league for some time. Daniel Gibson is one of the better up-and-coming guards out there with a pure stroke. Damon Jones is another player with a pure shot. I think LeBron is the reason his supporting cast looks so pathetic, cuz the quality of the players arent as bad as they look out there...If you really think about it:
Ilgauskas>Perkins
Delonte>Rondo
Then you got Ben Wallace who is pretty good at containing great bigs (he made Garnett work hard for his points) and Ray Allen playing like he doesn't even need to be defended. Then it comes down to Paul Pierce vs. LeBron James, and Pierce simply outplayed James. Notice how LeBron wasn't the main factor in the games that Cleveland won. His supporting cast isn't as bad as he makes them look.

I dont know. He made a lot of terrible decisions and passed the ball to the invisible man on the bseline more than a few times yesterday. I know its not good to judge a guy by a single game, but aside from the bad game, I think he's a career backup/fringe starter.

Believe me Boston has NO chance to win this series. Detroit is amazing though, so when they make the Finals they better not be referred to as a joke because they are as good as any team in the West, I wouldn't be surprised if Detroit won the next 3 straight, they are a great team.
