santana (as in the group he had) was multi cultural, but carlos santana is mexican, he's from TJ mexico i believe, his father started him off on violin so that's why he's perfected all those no look techniques and shit

Because nowadays he is the guitar player, which is dope, you can listen to a santana song and just listen to the guitar... it's like a Dr. Dre beat, you dont need a vocal to know how tight it is
