and Lol at the 2pac album title 'Pure 2Pac'
Next up in OCT 2009 - Snoop Doggy Dogg – The Lost Sessions Volume 1
THE MUCH ANTICIPATED UNRELEASED TUPAC ALBUM
PURE 2PAC – A full album of never before released TUPAC songs with the
original sound, and original producers including Daz, Johnny J and others. The plan is to release
this album as part of a celebration of Tupac’s birthday in June 2010.

pretty lame album cover so far.

They can put snoopy on the cover for all i care, its an album of unreleased snoop tracks possibly from the doggystyle era. Thats all that matters.
-
This is going to be like Nas' Lost Tapes...?

same here but they really need a better and attractive cover on the shelves and not a bootleg looking artwork
-

Snoop aint been Snoop Doggy Dogg in like 12 years :o ;)

True, DR does own the rights its the fact they said Snoop Doggy Dogg, that name alone sounds funny as hell now! Back then it was like damn "That snoop doggy dogg is the shit". I know snoop gotta be glad he just shortened his name to Snoop Dogg.Imagine calling him Snoop Doggy Dogg in 2009 ???

That's what I'm thinking. Since they did such a good job on the "Chronic: Re-Lit" album cover, I doubt they would turn around and do such a shitty job on the album cover for the very next release. My guess is that this is just a place holder until they have final artwork ready. At least, I really hope so. Looking forward to release too, btw. I'm glad they're coming back with a second release, the very next month.
-
I actually like that cover. Has a classy look to it, but with a young Snoop photo. Whatever, just as long as they keep his name as Snoop Doggy Dogg. I remember on Space Boogie they gave his name as that. It's more gangsta sounding. I'm actually looking forward to this project more than Chronic Re-Lit, not that I'm not looking forward to that one, though.

lol don't judge a book by it's cover....or a Cd

I think it STILL is a dope name. Snoop Dogg or Doggy Dogg. I know this, when the later name is on a track, the track record of dope music speaks for itself.

y'all all on here blabblin' so god dam much y'all forgot that Laura and them fuckin' with Joe Cool and other artist from back then. So just incase they do re-do the cover (probably the same picture just different word font) then you know it's gonna be straight.

I'm actually looking more forward to this than Dr Dre - The Chronic: Re-Lit
Good job, Wide AWAKE
-

The picture is from one of the first interviews Snoop Doggy Dogg did with Dr. Dre. Talkin' about 213 on that shit, it's on the DVD of "Murder Was The Case".

That cover is not the final cover. It is just a quick 2 minute job

It'll probably be more DPG Produced tracks from 94-96 and maybe 1 or 2 from 92-93 that Dre maybe produced. Wideawake probably ain't gonna just put all tha good shit on one album (which makes sense). It'll probably just be another DMW album but just better.

any chances to see doggystyle and the next episode og ?
-
Cool, can't wait to check these out.
-
hope to see some pac on there
Faggot ass Pac goupie, it's Snoop's album, not Pac's. Piece of shit go die.
-
Good shit! There's not a chance I'll dislike this release 8)
-

Doggystyle is possible but Next Episode won't be without Dre's permission. WideAwake stated that they can't use unreleased dre VERSES without his permission. Notice they didn't say production or songs. So basically anything with his voice is a no go unless he gives the green light. I know Dre doesn't want to release songs that he did that weren't up to his standards BUT the one thing I am hopeful for with Next Episode is that since it was intended to be released and pretty much made the final tracklisting for Doggystyle, is that Dre will be less reluctant to give W.A. the ok on it.
-
hopefully they put on the original version of Smoke w/o the relativez. I love that song but only the kurupt and snoop verses. I would also like to see Head Doctor OG on there

Why you wildin' man? It's a discussion thread about Snoop Dogg's unreleased material, not Tupac's.

Only way I'm buying any of this old death row catalog is if its in "dual disc" format...
