This year is pretty much over for major releases and I have been consistantly bumping this since it came out and I am having a hard time finding some other albums that top it.

Easily the year's best Hip-Hop release. A true classic, nothing else has been that this year. Nas is a close 2nd, but Emeritus takes the crown.

I will determine that officially when the year is over, but in my top 3 albums no doubt

I don't know for me all 4 of those were also inconsistent at times too. Emeritus is just solid throughout. I know there are a few more albums that dropped that I thought were as good if not better but I am drawing a blank right now.

yes. i wouldn't comment if i didn't hear it as i didn't with Immortal. Murs was decent, don't get me wrong, but wasn't no Emeritus.

yes. i wouldn't comment if i didn't hear it as i didn't with Immortal. Murs was decent, don't get me wrong, but wasn't no Emeritus.
aii i wasent tryna say u were lyin i was jw cuz i thought murs was one of the best this year...but jus diff opinion

imo Games album was the most relistenable this year... I liked TI and Nas too

Longevity. And Face has been doing it even longer. But yeah Nas doing his thing.

Just my opinion but i think Tronic is the best with Emeritus second the Game and Nas are tied third for me 8)

Face has only been out for a couple weeks so it's hard to say. It's a great album but I don't think it's better than Nas.

Affiliated, the Black Bruce Willis, the Confessional, Acid Reflex are all better imo

I might be wrong,but I think D-Nice means; best major release.
Both 6-2 and Erotic is super indie. Bishop and Maylay is for free download,so don't count as major either.
So that leaves Paris...

You guys must not listen to alot of albums, cuz those were the worst possible mainstream generic albums put out this year..
Whoever said Murs, Reks, those are the kinda releases that should be at the top of the lists...

I gotta check that one out, probably in a few days. Heard a few dope cuts from him last month.

Face stands out as one of the best rappers to ever pic up the mic, its a sad day when Face aint bringing out albums anymore and we still have to hear garbage rappers put their so called music out! Face is a true artist in every sense so he get's my vote for album of the year.

sorry. album of the year goes to paper trail. i do think that this is face's best work since made but overall his last two album is his weakest.
