Couple weeks before that he killed Push and Ferg on the OG Bobby Johnson Remix

I say 2nd Renaissance, because i think his first was during the Eastsidaz days. What do you guys think ?

Those Thats My Work tracks are OLD homie
-
All of them ? I can see the Kokane song being old, but the Gangstas dont live that long track should be new
-
nah snoop done fell off. he tried to venture out but it didn't work and he alienated his fanbase totally. I don't wanna hear snoop albums no more.

Sad but true. He used to be my favorite rapper, even more than Kurupt at one point due to the great quality he was putting out (everything from Top Dogg - Paid the Cost).
But its an insult to his true fans when he keeps pushing us aside in favor of trying to please an audience that doesn't accept him. So if he wants to keep putting out projects like R&G and Malice that's on him, I won't waist my time downloading.
-
He has been trying to get back to his rap game, in the past couple of months.
Snoop is still brilliant on the mic but as I always say, Snoop need a good coach and direction to deliver a decent album.
Seems Dre producing a Snoop album again, is a pipe dream, so the best move for Snoop is to get with Pharrell on another project, that's a combination that has worked well for him in the past and fits him more with where he is in his life and music right now.

Y'all ain't his true fans and are far from his core fans.
Stop tryna lowkey kiss DPG's ass.
Ftr: Snoop lit up that "OG Bobby Johnson" fucc u talkin bout
I'm a true and core Snoop fan thru all of the good and bad and Snoop ain't as bad as y'all say he is on here.

Snoop alienated a lot of his fans with that Snoop Lion persona...I wasn't buying into it kinda like Daz dropping that Gangsta Crunk years ago

Not true at all
-
anybody have Wingz track from his last EP? Been looking for that for a while.
-
Yes! EVERYBODY wants a Dr. Dre produced Snoop album with minimal features:
Dr. Dre
Daz
Kurupt
Rage
Nate
2Pac
Warren G
Jewell
Nothin but gangsta shit
But since we live in a better era with possibilities of even greater music I'd have Mustard, MadLib, Tyler The Creator (his OF shit, not his Scott Storch shit), MikeWill, Dam Funk, Timbaland, & Curren$y's, Kendrick's, & Dom Kennedy's people all co-producing with Dr. Dre or the album just only mixed/engineered by Dr. Dre
With features by
Dr. Dre
YG
Nipsey
Kendrick
Game
ScHoolBoy Q
Freddie Gibbs
Wiz Khalifa
Juicy J
Ice Cube
Tray Deee
2 Chainz
Nothin but gangsta shit
Imo that would be tha crank. Fucc all that other shit. Save those cliche old skool features for the mixtape pre-release
-
Snoop Dogg going back to Gangsta rap would be stupid and pointless, hence why he is releasing old unreleased songs to keep dubcc happy

Snoop always been doin gangsta music becuz Snoop IS a gangsta. He's just always balanced it out with crossover aimed records (old black people, young white kids, middle aged crackers, etc).
He could still do all of that with an album like the one above.
But I understand he's at another level in his life so I get why he do what he do. Becuz trust, a ghetto ass Snoop Dogg album will never be outta style to the people, but to him personally is something different
-
I agree with you that Snoop is in his second renassance but your a little late on your dates. The first one started with Top Dogg and went alll the way thru the second eastsidaz album... this one started with Reincarnation! 8)
-
ima always support snoop

Juicy J ? YG ? 2 2 Chainz ? ???

I lost my respect for Snoop and stopped supporting him way before his Snoop Lion persona. Bout 13 years ago when he first started working with corny popstars.
-
7 days of funk was dope, If snoop can build on that we got somethin goin
