Kobe drove the lane like a maniac and fell backwards after the shot
landed right on Bynum's right leg and bent the motherfucker back like a twig

like NIK said, the xrays came back negative and he said he didnt hear anything snap or pop. probably jusy hyper-extended it. he wont be out the entire year, yall just being over dramatic. Good test for the Lakers if he's out a couple weeks. We went through our month at the beginning of the year with no Manu and no Parker. Lets see how the Lakers respond.

I wouldn't say worrying about the amount of time he's going to miss is being "over dramatic"

Im a firm believer that having a key player for your team out for a couple...or few weeks can be a good thing. It forces other role players to step up, and sometimes an average player turns into a really good player. Then when your key guy comes back, the team can actually be stronger.

The fact is that Gasol should play center, Odom should play (power) forward, and Powell should replace Odom (like Turiaf used to do last year). If we do it, we can repeat the good things done last year. But yeah, Powell should step up and start to get some minutes, or we will be out of gas in a month. Let's use him 15-20 minutes per game, or let's trade someone to get another PF/C.

Mihm used to be a decent center before his multiple injuries but now he's completely done ... it's a foul or a travel everytime he's involving in a play ... no disrespect but Mihm hasn't the level required to play as a 2nd string C in this league anymore, he's a liability on the floor... I'd play DJ over him for defensive purposes without hesitation

It is never funny when a young player gets injured when he is about to blow up. The good thing for him is that he already signed a big contract. So he'll be less depressed than last year. Let's hope he could be back in 3-4 weeks.
