are you serius about askin this???
-
are you serius about askin this???
Absolutely. Because Demos got leaked?
-
I like it
-
^ same. Although the lyrics aren't as good as I think they could be. The chorus is a little weak but with some work it could be a dope song.
-
Where the fuck are these leaks coming from

Ask the FBI.

nah because detox will be a album with fuckin artist that ain´t from the westcoast, The Cronic is Dre´s best album, handz down.

wow and it can only be a dope album if it has west coast artists on it. I thought dre was trying to make universal music not just something thats only bumped in the state of cali
-
i dont think this is a detox leak. remember that track by Nino bless and how Octo said even some average joe could make a reference track and submit it to Dre? i think this is just a track luda made on his own
-

You're talkin about a Demo/Reference Track (a track which isn't finished). And, you don't even know if Luda will be on the final version (well, there will never be a final version of that one so...).
You have to understand something: these demos are the best way to sell your lyrics to Dr Dre. Instead of just sending the lyrics, you can do that track. That's what Luda did here, nothing more, nothing less.
-
Most commercial albums have this process, a period where they accept other people's tracks, or at least for production. Difference here is Dre accepts tracks for lyrics.
It's nothing amazing. More cliche topic matter. I prefer TI's tracks.
I want to hear the material Bishop has written for Dre. It seems like it'll be on the personal tip.
-
^^ i think u mean Dre not jay
-
Yeah, I realized that and edited while you replied.
-
Another Detox track that will never see the light of day, thanks to leakers.

Another example would be Crooked I with "Say Dr. Dre"
-
ha i like this!beats dope,luda!

bishop lamont???
-
Is this another 'I'm still the man, don't forget who made The Chronic, I'm an OG' type song?
-
this isn't really very good, the beat is hella messy. t.i. leaks were much better.
-

Yeh :-\
But then again, what else can people outside the circle rap about when makin a track for Dre? :-\

Yeah dunno bout that beat, Luda doing his Dre impersonation sounds pretty coo though haha
Shits aite
-
Its sad that other rappers not only write the lyrics but also perform the song for Dre how Dre should rap it. I respect Dre but shit is sad.
-
hot damn this is wack
FUCK DETOX
-
It's obvious Dre didn't produce this. I've never heard him use standard 808 snares.
Track is actually pretty good, especially the hook.
-
not a bad idea... i could see it working.,
and hearin luda impersonate dre is funny
-
dope beat... same old tired rhymes
-
Track leaked by Mike Elizondo or someone pretending to be him on his Twitter.
http://twitter.com/mikeelizondo
-
so this is a dre beat???
this shit sounds like somethin from 2001......honestly, i hope all these reference tracks are old as fuck, cuz i dont see any progress in the beats from 2001....
-
its blatantly not a dre beat, nor a khalil one either. sounds kinda amatuer really.
-
Could be an unfinished beat, it is just a reference track.
-
why does Dre insist on Southern rappers ghost writing for him?
the problem with all these ghost written tracks are that everybody is saying the same thing, you feel me?
can't front though, the hook is dope. 8)
-
ok, i heard from this other forum that artists randomly send dre reference tracks, doesnt necessarily mean he will use them.....same thing happened with Nino Bless, Dre never asks these artists for anything, they just send them i guess
-

Well if we listen to Dre lyrics... its never been a lyrical masterpiece lol

don't confuse subject matter with wordplay.
Dre can get good verses from the D.O.C., Eminem, Ice Cube etc.
-
You won't see any of these reference tracks on Detox. There's a reason they were allowed to be leaked.

you think dre allowed to leak a single track????
i dont think so
-
detox is a joke....
Hmm, why?
Maybe because all the leaked tracks that are supposed to be from "Detox" suck? Including this one.

Did it ever occur to you that they might be leaking these joints with a purpose?
-
The beat is absolute crap, but I like the idea of Ludacris writing for Dre. King of the South IMO.
-
its a gd trak, cheers but yh it seems weird how dre is goin to the south lately, not that im dissing them.
-
yo that produced by this guy namend; J.Cardim
(http://www1.loud.com/images/g_photo_image/00169.jpg)
-
the beat reminds me of that Game/luda track on LAX called "ya heard".
EVERYBODY's working on detox, it's crazy....
-
now that i think of it, you can almost bet that he is letting these tracks leak so he keeps the fans with the thought in their mind "ohh, shit it's leaking, it's definatly on the way; OMG NOW I AM SO PUMPED ABOUT THIS AGAIN!".
it's all to keep you guys excited & anticiapated. ;)

LOL how can Dre (indirectly) be behind this, when he hasn't even touched the songs?
also, in response to the comment, about one person/camp supposedly being behind all the Detox reference tracks: this is very unlikely. some songs definitely seem to come from one camp, but there's also a fair share of artists that use the Detox tag to get attention.

because he doesn't need to touch them in order to get the hype he is looking for; this thread will go on for another 3 pages talking about this, Dre & Detox.
Detox will never come out, it's all a conspiracy to see how long Dre can keep you guys waiting!
WATCH! :)

A message from Dice Music (J. Cardim's mgmt.)
OK I KNOW MANY OF YOU HAVE THIS ALREADY (I MYSELF DOWNLOADED IT OFF A BLOG) BUT I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I HEARD THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IT WAS TO A J. CARDIM BEAT (ONE WHICH I STILL SHOP LOL) SO THIS IS MY WAY OF CIRCULATING THE PRODUCTION CREDITS. IF YOU HAVE IT UP ALREADY, IF YOU COULD ADD "PRODUCED BY J. CARDIM" I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT AS WE HAVE NOT WORKED WITH LUDA BEFORE AND ITS DOPE AND A GOOD LOOK 4 US THAT HE WAS WRITING FOR DRE TO ONE OF J. CARDIM'S BEATS!
THANK YOU AS ALWAYS FOR THE SUPPORT!!

it's not coming from Dre, einstein.
besides, the hype around Detox has shocked Dre: trust me, he didn't see it coming.
if he could start over, he would.
-
how do you know this is off Detox ? sounds cool but , trust me its not off the Detox album
-
Track is cool, Ludacris sounds dope tryin' to sound like Dre.
-
anotha detox leak, detox is a joke....
No, Detox is a myth.
-
Wow, some of you guys are fuckin retards. It's really not hard to tell what this tracks all about. Even before I heard it, it's so obvious. Luda grabbed some random westcoast sounding beat...spit a bunch of verses/hook on it and sent it to Aftermath just like a MILLION other rappers in hopes of Dre even hearing 1 second of it. And thats it! This has absolutely nothing to do with Dre/Aftermath and it's sad how some don't realize this and immediately think this is Detox. And that Elizondo Twitter looks sooo fake just by what the dudes saying. Now those T.I. leaks on the other hand were done when T.I. was actually at Aftermath's studios working with Dre.
And this beat fuckin sucks...shame on anyone thinking it was made by anyone at Aftermath. Luda was alright though, too bad this submission won't even get a chance, but I doubt it would have anyway due to the '99/2000 subject matter.
-
not bad, lol @luda tryna act westcoast gangsta wit it
dre's like im not feelin luda's gangsta, next.......
if someone rapped on this, might be dope
lol
im on some grown man shit loc
