They are 20/1 people, worth a fiver bet at least.
I mean they always do well in tournaments, they are world cup runners up, they have a good team, the last match the played they won 7-0. I think they and Holland will get through in their group. My guess is GERMANY.

I don't think Germany is gonna win either. Actually, I have good hopes Germany will be out after the group matches. Germany has always problems with teams from Eastern Europe, so the Chzech Republic and Latvia will be a problem for them. I'd say they get 1 or 2 points out of those. Germany will lose their first match.
I think Portugal will make it to the final along with an outsider.

Hell of a player in he. I watch him week in week out fellas!!!!!!!!!!! You've just gotta sit there and actually watch him in a game, live, he's active as fuck. Even when he looks like he ain't doing much, he is, if you get me.
For an 18 year old hes strong, pacey and good as fuck. He will only improve in the future, hopefully it will be with us.

Yeah we played well today against Iceland, but comon its only Iceland, the only reason our formation even kinda worked was because their midfield was even more all over the place than ours. At least we got some goals under our belt though, but you gotta remember thats the first game we've won since September 2003.

i think portugal, italy, france and any of england/germany/holland or spain will hit the other semi final spot..........but cant really say with spain, they never perform in big games cuz they gotta squad full of pussies........

Jome, Germany is a tournament team, nobody gives a f about the games shortly before the tournament. Also I've got the feeling that here in germany it's all about 2006. Not too much buzz about 2004. We even got a TV shows named "project 2006".

i was told that only group winners go through to the next stage, and that the runners up do play offs amongst themselves.
had this been the case this would have meant either england or france will effectively be out after the first round.
but its not the case, the group runner up plays the winner of the adjacent group in the 1/4s.. as before in these (and most) competitions
so if the top two in our group are france and england (whichever way around) they cant meet again in the semi's

Yo Seer, whoever you heard that from was talking about the qualifying groups for the tournament itself, whereby the teams that finished second (such as Turkey in our qualifying group), had to go through the playoffs to actually qualify for the tournament. Once at the tournament this doesn't apply for the group stage.

I dont think Holland will win it but they are alwys going to be classed as a good team! They have a very young and inexperienced squad, i dont think they'll do much.

They have basically no midfield to back up Totti, Del Piero or Vieri..
Camoranesi was wack, Perotta was weak, and Gattuso didn't help matters..
They have one of the best keepers in Buffon, the best defender in the world in Nesta, and Totti is among the best attackers..
