what do u guys think the tightest beat of all time is. i think it is THE LIFE by shine. my life had its ups and downs and i don't regret nothan had the whole tri state hi nigga i ain't fruntin at 15 i sold my first bag of dope used to take dominicans burn um under da coat. also a tight verse right there to go with the fucking tightest beat

i have to agree that diplomats get some of the dopest beats of all time. maybe not more than 20 instrumentals, but tracks like "I really mean it"... goddamn.. i only wish someone else spit on it.

Geto Boys - 'Mind Playin tricks on me'  is a song i can play for hours and hours and never get tired of it....
Dr Dre - 'Still D.R.E' always gives me chills...cuz dre was back!
outkast - 'Southernplayalisticaddilacmusic' was smooth as fuck
Ice Cube - 'it was a good day' is always a good song to end a day with
Dj Quik - 'Speed' always get me pumped


these are the few tight beats that come to mind..i can't really pick one or two without mentioning a few others...thats waaaaaay to hard

GZA - Liquid Swords ... Best headnod type beat.
Snoop Doggy Dogg - The Shiznit ... Dre's best beat. The percussion is precise and clean, you have the best bassline ever, and the flute just sounds perfect. This track is a decade ahead of it's time musically and it's just some classic Gfunk.

the beat from Yukmouth - Monopoly... I know or at least I think that was from Mobb Deep  butz donīt know the song..
and  "If It Ainīt Ruff"...

... they just come to my mind in this moment because those beats made me a headbanger the last days (once again) ....   8)

Like E-Crazy said Bombs Over Baghdad is phenomenal!

the first time you hear it you are just blown away by it something no one has ever heard before, then the second time you listen to it to make sure it is what it is, thent he third time you anticipate the contdown the explosion, one of the greatest songs EVER lyrically and production.

coe to think of it Outkast gets a lot of dope production, as does Dipset

but all time number one is Luniz - "5 on it" its the beat each and every person around has spit over before, EVERYONE freestyles to that at least once in their life, and if not you know the damn words :D
