Title: Your favorite Jacka projects
Post by: Blood$ on February 05, 2015, 01:18:58 PM
I still need to re-download all the collaborative albums he did with dudes so I'm just going off solos for now:

The Jack Artist
Tear Gas
Jack of All Trades - this one took years to grow on me but this was a pretty solid album looking back  8)

just as I thought, majority of the "RIP" posts come from bandwagon fans that don't even know dude's catalog  :grumpy:

don't know much of his solo catalogue, but I liked Tear Gas a lot.

I never really got into him, I prefer Hus & AP9 in the Mob Figaz but I liked his projects with Ampichino, Berner and I really like The Mob Gets Explosive (Explosive Mode 3). I think it's a very underrated project, and I loved "This is the Mob For Life", especially  8)

I like his first album Jacka of the Mob Figaz, The Jack Artist and Tear Gas are both quality albums.

U PREFER AP9 TO JACKA?

yeah in terms of rapping, I always enjoyed AP9's classic delivery more than Jacka's. I like Jacka but imo it's usually hit or miss. There's a lot of his material that I find average even though he has a lot of classics and very dope stuff too.

His first album The Jacka Of The Mob Figaz, the opening track is too deep "Target Practice"  8)
The Jack Artist is a classic to me, no fillers just heaters!
Tear Gas is a great album, I bought it when I was working in Canada so it always bring back good memories when I listen it! The cut with Cellski is my favorite song on it!
The Mob Gets Explosive is a dope album too but I always liked it for Mess  :P
Jonestown collabo with Mess & Blanco was also pretty dope
Now as a Mob Figaz' member I like C-Bo's Mob Figaz and selftitled one from 2003 with the Rick Rock beats on it, 3 Da Hard Way with Hus & Marvaless was tight and so the first Mob Trial.
And to be honest, except for the first collabo with Laroo Tha Hard Hitta and Freeway, I never liked all his other collabo albums because I think Berner, Blanco, Ampichino, Lee Majors, Double OO, M Dot 80 are garbage and annoying same for Messy Marv when he's dropping collabo with Prince Bugsy, Berner, DZ, Melo, Young Doe etc...
