Title: Which Relapse tracks are you feeling?
Post by: BlueSwan on May 11, 2009, 01:28:31 AM
I'm giving you the opportunity to vote for every track on Relapse that you're feeling. You might feel none or just a few of the tracks or the entire CD, it's your call. Vote for as many songs as you like. Skits have obviously been removed from the tracklist.

Underground, Insane and Same Song And Dance are my favourites right now, but I like most of the album. There's usually always a couple of really poor tracks on Eminem albums, but not on this one (not on SSLP either).

Deja Vu  and Underground are the only ones i'm really enjoying, a couple of others like stay wide awake are ok but get annoying quick with that accent

I never thought I'd say this, but I pretty much like it all.

Wow.

I was so ready to hate this album, but the guy's technical skills as an MC are just too amazing not to acknowledge. Even if you hate everything he's saying, you can't deny that the WAY he says it is just jaw-dropping.

At first I thought the whole cd was wack. Dre beats kept me from deleting it and once I got pass the intital dissapointment of him using an accent and reading that cd analysis I gave it another try with an open mind. I've been listening to it for 4 days straight now and the worst track is Old Time's Sake (Em is so annyoing) and then there's We Made You (recycled), Insane (don't feel the screaming flow) and Same Song & Dance (where the accent also doesn't help). My favorite track right now is Deja Vu and the outro makes it even bigger.

I am going to perform a massive u turn now, at first I vowed to not even bother listening to this, then I did and said it was shit but now I am really really feeling this. Old Times Sake is definitely the most irritating song on this album but the word play is great, the beats are great and I appreciate it more each time I listen to it.

My faves are
Stay Wide Awake
Underground
Beautiful

I think I initially said this had a handful of good songs on it, but my initial feelings on any given music usually never stay for long. This is going to be added to my album collection most definitely.

co-sing on that, as much as I concentrate only beatwise on the tracks (Dre amazed me and he hadn't done that in a long long time) I gotta admit that he def flows his ass off

And my fav tracks right now are (again beatwsie mainly) My Mom, Hello, Medicine Ball, Deja Vu (Dre came up with some insane shit.If you lsiten closely you'll notice so many backroung elements(Hello and Medicine Ball for the most part), so many changes...I missed that variety in Dre beats, and I'm so happy to see it comming back) and Beatiful is quite a nice track too.

Overall I'm REALLY digging the production on this album

Alright, I re-voted with these:

3am - I dunno, I just like this one

My Mom - the beat is Chronic 2001 redone for the next generation, fkn great

Bagpipes From Baghdad - sounds banging turned up real loud

Same Song And Dance - the whole beat and outro are great, not too keen on Em's lyrics but I admire the concept

Medicine Ball - my favourite track so far, the outro is some space age shit 8)

Stay Wide Awake - liking Em's flow on this one

Old Time's Sake - corny but it's catchy, Dre sounds real good

Must Be The Ganja - hypnotic, wasn't feelin it at first but it gets ya

Deja Vu - this one's cool, slowly growing on me

the beat of Old Time's Sake grew on me a lot: it's really a shame that no instrumental was released

I was just listening to that now 8)

I feel that was on the album, literally, for old time's sake. It's a throwback to the Chronic 2001 days and it's only on Relapse for sentimental value.

It doesn't really bother me tho...
