Another Push Back For R.E.D ?

good to see on Game twitter Slim Tha Mobsta got outta jail today.
-
Thats good to hear..
-
Game must do anal to have Dre do this.
-
Stat, Hayes, Game and Dre are all in the studio and I assume Slim will join them. If some of the leaks are anything to go by a lot of work needs to be done on The RED. Sounds like more pushbacks for Detox tbh
-
sik why would game have to do that to the doctor? lol
Game must do anal to have Dre do this.

oh yeah. :P. I almost looked like Drake on your pic when i heard the news :P .
-
even better give dre more time to perfect a album that needs time to be perfected
you get it early, then youll be complain that he rushed it or its wack
So we won't be seeing Detox until 2012 then? :-X
-
while his album undoubtedly has more and more potential with game getting closer to dre again - a series of further and lengthy delays is pretty much guaranteed. this is dre remember. our last hope of hearing R.E.D in 2010 just evaporated.
unless jimmy actually wants the album out at a certain time.

ill wait another decade for such a dope masterpiece...why?

Dre had to fuck wit Game again...it wouldn't have made sense not to. 50 was gonna bounce from the label regardless.....and Jimmy still wanna make his money. This is Games best chance to move units and make everybody happy.
-
not surprised one bit
-
Slim The Mobster was locked up?
anyways, great news... really looking forward to R.E.D. now
-
Slim The Mobster was locked up?
for like the last 3-4 months
-

wtf I heard nothing about that... maybe that explains the lack of music out there, I just recently got into some of his joints and I think he's dope as hell 8)
what was he in jail for?
-
Hell Gyeah...This shit better be hard nucca. Idk wanna hear no 'camera phone' b.s.
I want 'Nice' 'Superman' 'House of Pain' 'Red Bandana' 'They Love It' ' Put me under' GAME.
-
if true, beats & beat quality will be a major plus.
but it's just going to be more mainstream than it already was. :-X

Why has another thread been made about this when theres an official Game thread?

LOL, not a chance.
Illmatic, Doggystyle & the first Chronic are arguably the three greatest albums ever.
Restless, 2001 & Pun's album are all classics as well, but not exactly on the same level as Illmatic & those & Game's best albums, The Documentary & Doctor's Advocate were NO WHERE near any of those albums; i don't believe that he Game could make an album as good as The Documentary, let alone Illmatic lol.
especially when it's going to be drenched in mainstream features like Gucci, Lady GaGa, Pharrell, etc.

I think this will improve the quality of games album but in the long run im not sure if this is the best move.
-
aite lol @ to be continued.....it aint official til 50 signs the papers....nah bring it back gameface
50 has nothing to do with Game. If he did Game would be in the same position that Young Buck is in. Now let it go.
-
would to see dre wit game again, hope to see new game album soon. detox never comin

oh wow.
whatever, same goes for Detox; it's going to be covered with features; if he in fact works with everybody he has in the past.
it's not going to be what most of you are expecting; but it'll be dope, none the less.
-
So we won't be seeing Detox until 2012 then? :-X
It wasn't likely to happen either way.
-
dre getting desperate?
cuz i know game doenst have the hype he did couple years ago
-
this should be interesting. . . I'm guessing there will be a couple dre tracks on there.....that paired up with Pharrell being executive producer. maybe he can revive his buzz?
that "shake" track he did with cool and dre was pretty cool
-
why desperate if he can make money?
jimmy tell him ay you want to make a cool......?
sides if he has control over the album...hes saved game cuz the skateboard duke cant do it and 50 aint there
and knocturnal aint givin no advice without gettin a free verse....lol

i don't know about all that; he just produced almost all of Eminem's album & that was highly successful for this day & age.
50 didn't do much, but he didn't have much influence on that album anyway.
i think Dre saw the guests from Intro to Outro on RED & knew this album was going to sell because of the mainstream influenced guests.
-
I wonder if Bishop was dropped because Game got re-signed and they had 'beef'?
-
interestin way of lookin at it but bishop cant do teenager muzik...he dont appeal to the masses the same way game does/did

Not that I've been patiently waiting for another collab between these two, but it'll be interesting to see if Dre can get Eminem to work with Game. ;)
-
Anyone who thinks Game has a Classic needs 2 listen 2 more albums. Its a West Coast classics but lets be real. A real Classic is The Chronic or Doggystyle or Illmatic or someshit.
People be using Classic 2 the point were they don't know wtf it means.
-
I've never liked this dude's music. And Bishop is a 10 times better mc than Game in my opinion. The only reason why I've listened to his albums is the production. He's got a good ear for beats. And he's got a lot of fans out there that buys into his gangster image. It's probably a smart business move on Dre's part.
-

Indeed. Not many people like what they did on We ain't but i think they were both on point. Beat goes hard.
Just those annoying eminem adlibs with a high pitched voice were unnecessary..
-
"We Ain't" was one of my favorite joints on The Documentary; the beat was monster.
i think Em produced it. 8)
-
Yup It was Em and Louis Resto (or maybe that's Luis). Yeah the beat is nuts.
-

Thats right....well from the music Ive heard I agree.
-
Yeah "We Aint" was crazy... Game went in hard and Eminem's verse was incredible from a technical MC'ing perspective... never understood the hate the song gets ???

Me neither.

True shit..I think game is gonna do very good numbers..Not as good as the first..But very good..Im glad to see Dre workin back with Game..
-

it was probably around the time everyone jumped on the bandwagon about how Em was the worst producer ever after Loyal to the Game.
-

yeah, people just shitted on it & was left thinking, "wtf?". :eh:

Em's problem with Loyal to the Game was that he tried to twist Pac's style and flow to fit his productions rather than the other way around. Pac just didn't sound good on them. I only bump the last few tracks on the album and Ghetto Gospel
-
Yeah We Aint was the shit, that track goes hard!

I actually thought his production was good on a few tracks but I just don't think he had a diverse enough production style to hold down a whole album like that. It's also bound to spark some controversy when you have a mainstream artist like Em remixing an entire Tupac album. That was begging to be a problem for the hardcore fans. I thought if they let him have maybe 4 or 5 songs and let other people handle some of the others, it would have went over a little better. Also, having Obie Trice and G-Unit on there felt a little too much like nepotism.
-

i don't like it myself, it's an odd beat
-
In my opinon Eminem really is a very poor producer though. I wasn't a big fan of "We Ain't" either (more just because I'm not a G-Unit fan at all) but I admit that was one of his better beats. I can honestly say I've only ever liked about 3 or 4 beats the man has ever produced and none of them have been spectacular. He should stay away from the boards and concentrate on the mic.
-
for real but now he needs to stay away from the mic cuz hes been away so long he has a accent....mayne

I wonder if Bishop was dropped because Game got re-signed and they had 'beef'?
if that was true, then Dre wouldn't work with Game anymore, after he dissed Knoc-turn'al

What makes you think that? It's all about the money and right now it's Game who's makin' the money.
Dre and Knoc might be friends but we all know that they ain't been fuckin' with each other for a while. Dre tried to help Knoc blow up back then and he didn't, so Dre started workin' on another "protege" and that's how it usually goes with Dr. Dre. You flop you aint hot and Dre ain't fuckin with you no mo'. Yeah, Knoc had "I Like" on "The Way I Am" but it sounds like an leftover beat and Knoc probably recorded it years ago but didn't release it on anythin'. I'm not hatin' on Knoc, so don't nobody get it twisted.

true.
i was just saying that i doubt that Bishop got dropped for dissing Game.
Dre wasn't even working with Game when Bishop dissed Game

knoc already gave the lyrics into the aftermath ghostwritin department but game wasnt around when he was ghostwritin so he dont know knoc wrote his lyrics

To be on Dr. Dre original N.W.A Mentor, Pioneer of Gangsta Rap, G-Funk, Death Row, Finding Snoop and Eminem, Being on his Final Album is probably a coveted spot within the industry. His beats are that is for sure.

i knew this was gonna happen 8)
