No question about that,it took me some time to get into the track.
Actually the beat fit Bleed more than Mike and Deuce.  :P

Fiend is NOT a favorite of mine, but never the less dude got skills,itīs just that the bounce beats is  :-X :-X :-X ;) (my opinion).
The track I uploaded is one of his better ones,itīs a odd beat.. pretty original  ;).
And it feature Skull and Mystikal,so  ;) ;)

I ainīt going to push Skull on you,but just out of curiosity what is your objective AND subjective take on him?
Youīre a pretty open minded person, and donīt really give a fuck what sub-genere they belong to or where they from.
So it would interesting to hear your views on him and the Louisana/Bounce scene in general.
My views is a little mixed, but I find the scene and style interesting.  :P ;)

Lunatic 63.

Skull his voice was always annoying to me and he never really had no flow to his rhymes. I bought that album that beat wise it was cool but I could never get into his music. I will have to dust it off and listen to it again with a more open ear but we will see what happens.

Yo Chad, that Southern Hydro shit was bluesy as fuck.

Best rappers out of Louisiana?  Early Juvie was raw.  I liked a lot of No Limit's roster back in the day - Mac, Mystikal, Fiend were all very dope over Beats by the Pound production.  Mac was extremely dope, he should have blown up like the other cats on No Limit.

^man that c-murder joint is SICK..the lyrics and flow are NUTS :o

As I said before it seems like a grower,so will put it in rotation  ;)

To answer your question,  I am more old school when it comes to music down South. I am a big fan of No Limit/Rap-A-Lot. I really could not even name any bounce type artists. Juvenile's stuff I liked more of his later albums, but Mannie Fresh grew on me alot. But for the most part I am about lyrics. Fiend I always liked his guest appearances more than his album stuff.

Iīm not sure if youīre addressing me,the bounce/Louisana scene or the new C-Murder track.  ;
I got mixed feelings about No Limit  :P :P.
Fiends albums is so,so... no question about that.  ;) :P
Rap-A-Lot is on a another level, and is not to compared with No Limit/Cash Money (in my opinion)  :P ;).
No Limit went to ass  :-X right after Master P dropped Ghetto Dope, never got into Cash Money so canīt speak on that.  ;)
Thatīs my short opinion on the scene.  ;)

I was addressing you about my thoughts on the bounce scene down south. Yeah NO COMPARISION will Rap-A-Lot whatsoever.

MAC wouldīve blown up on a bigger scale had he not gotten locked up 8 1/2 years ago for something he clearly didnīt do. MAC was only 22(21 when his last album was released) when he got locked up so i can only imagine where he wouldīve been at lyrically right now. and i agree with those other ones aswell. i always liked Fiend a lot coz heīs got an odd style and delivery and i think thatīs dope.

Thanks Chad, I already have it. I have to buy an original copy.

ABN: True, hope new president will give some amnesty in this case. Mac is probably the most talented dude I've ever heard. The Lyrical Midget album in his 12 years was lyrically superb! How can 12 years old dude write his own raps and Lil' Eazy-E cannot? And I don't speak about his No Limit albums. I loved No Limit back in the days, all the artists. I grow up on that music, but I STILL GOT LOVE 4 C-Murder, Mac and Soulja Slim. They all had really deep albums, but they all had really bad endings.

Soulja Slim was shot in his best years, he might be signed to some major distribution for his Cutthroat Committee, he should really blown up in this whole rap game. He was one of the best MCs I've ever heard.

Mac was locked up for thing that he didn't do. So another innocent dude is sitting in the jail in his best years, with kids, wife and big family at home. He was/is great lyricist and rapper.

C-Murder was locked up for the same reason as Mac. Another great rapper lost years in the jail. He's at home now, but he's limited as hell. He can't do tours, promotions, etc. That's why he sold only 3k of his new album in the first week. Honestly, I think he won't be on that high level as back in the days. He sold platinum and gold albums. But the jail destroyed his career. I wish him the best and I wanna see him sellin' million in the first week, not Lil' Wayne.

Now imagine a group, which consists of the three rappers above. If Soulja Slim was alive, both Mac and C weren't locked up. TRU Records / Major distribution. Bang!! But these are only Dreams (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csp8TF5ljDQ).

By the way:

I'm looking forward to it. I spoke with the director.

^C-Murder wasnīt locked up for the same reason as MAC. C actually deserves to be in jail for an extremely long time. he wouldīve murdered a bouncer if his gun hadnīt jammed. so even if he didnīt kill that 16 year old he should be in jail.

Mac also known as the Camouflage Assassin is a rapper from New Orleans, LA. His first album called the Lyrical Midget was recorded at the age of only 11 under the name Lil' Mac and was released in 1989. He would later grow up to be a very lyrical emcee and would join the Psychoward and Master P's phenomenal empire, No Limit. Mac quickly gained the reputation as one of the South's best lyricist. His rhymes portray a lot of realism and and are very lyrical. Similar to the artists found on the East Coast. The Lost Tapes is his last record to date and was released in 2007. It contains various unreleased material from the Psychoward years to the No Limit ones. Featuring on the album is Nas, C-Murder, Storm, Ms. Peaches, Cutlass, Samm and Kane & Abel. In 2001, Mac was convicted of manslaughter for the death of a 22 year old. Although Mac claims he is innocent, he is currently serving a 30 year prison sentence.

I have it on the hard copy for more than a year probably. But thanks anyway, I'm glad that somebody is interested in these projects.
