Hmm, maybe I'm just being impatient, but it has been a while since those pics from the video shoot hit the internet. Anyone know when the video will actually be released? Then again, maybe it already has been in the US since I highly doubt that they would air the vid over here in the UK, even with the impressive line-up. I'm beginning to think that they've axed the whole thing as a result of Warren's less than stellar sales.
Anyway, from the pictures the video was looking pretty promising. Hope we get to see it soon...

Well there's your answer right there.

Give it a while to be finished, edited and handed to the channels.
-
he was making a vid for Ghetto Village Remix w/ Snoop & Nelly too... never came out/got done...

The difference is that now the song is DONE and the video HAS BEEN FILMED. So it will eventually come to light. Whether it's on BET or on the internet.
-
Like I said, I have my doubts. I was just hoping that someone could confirm what was going on. I know these things can take a while to finish though...
-
I forgot about this video.
I guess I just assumed it would never come out.
-
I was hopin see this video, but you never know what's gonna happen...
-
If the video was completely filmed, it would take a good editor about 3 days to do it. I'm guessing they scrapped it.
-
lol look at the date when the video was shoot.
it was september...lol you will neer seen it on TV...
-
ill get it looked into today for ya!

From Hawino Records website:
11.07.05: The music video for "Get U Down Part 2" opens with Warren G giving a dedication to victims of Hurricane Katrina, along with scenes of rescue, human turmoil and devastation caused by the flooding. The video then unfolds with a dazzling hyper-realism, introducing a brand new, never-before-used technology that depicts vibrating images and animated touches that heighten one's visual experience. Warren G, Ice Cube, B Real, and Snoop Dogg are shown in vivid scenes around various locations in southern Cali while they address gang violence and racism against ultra 3-D, almost shimmering backgrounds. A five-year old girl getting hand-cuffed, a young man getting shot while his girlfriend mourns the loss of his life, incarceration, and poverty are all addressed; but the message of staying positive and trusting that hard times will be overcome resonates throughout the video. Kevin Hunter directed the video, with Brother Paul Hunter as second unit. Warren will also be performing along with Penny Wise in San Diego on Nov 10th for a benefit concert.
The date is quite recent, that's quite a good thang. It sounds like a very good video, can't wait to see it.
Keep us updated, Rud!

The label has probably done promoting the album (not like they really started anyway) but I hope it leaks atleast.

Yeah, there really is no point in promoting it anymore from the label's point of view.
-
it got misplaced...in the trash.

Damn, yeah that does sound like a great video. Hope they're not over-hyping it though!
An update would be dope Rud. Thanks in advance if you can get some info on this.

Supposedly he doing a video for "In Case Some Shit Go Down" too. I wonder if that will ever see the light of day. Paul Hunter directed that video.

You never know when an album might take off, so all efforts are welcome.

I gotta agree. A video isn't gonna help Warren this late since his album dropped. Unless the song has some mainstream appeal, I doubt it will ever be seen. The album flopped, regardless of wether it was good or not.
But it would still be nice to see it on the net.

they just played it on mtv.. pretty cool video
