Why would Kanye produce no tracks on an album on his label?

Because he was doing something else at that moment? But I bet he had an input on the outcome.

I'll check it out because the credits look pretty tight. Dude isn't bad at all (pretty decent) but I don't see the big hype. He's like a 7/10 rapper. Maybe this will change my opinion on him though.

That's what I've always thought, gonna give him a listen based on the hype, the fact he's from the D and giving GOOD music the benefit of the doubt. All that No ID production can't hurt either  8)

Didn't like the album, neither the beats or Big Sean impressed me..

I only kept the Lupe Fiasco track and the Pusha T track (after removing Rick Ross verse of course).. trash can next.

After hearing this album, the conclusion is: We need a Pusha T solo album!

We DO need a Pusha T solo album. But I think he should leave G.O.O.D Music to release it. He seems a bit out of place there TBH.

I've listened to this a few times now and I end up not paying attention.  It makes good background music I guess.

I never saw the hype for this guy since last years' XXL cover but over the last year I fucked with a few of his mixtape joints and thought he was an alright rapper who just happened to sound like Drake so I never had high expectations for this to begin with

album has some cool tracks but it all just sounds so formulated like Wiz' and Lupe's albums did

keepers: "I Do It", "My Last", "Wait For Me", "Memories Pt. 2", "High", "So Much More"

Disappointed in this. I was really looking forward to the album after his mixtapes but it sounds like he blew his load (no homo) on subject matter on those tapes and ran out of shit to talk about come album time. Sounds very thrown together

Intro - N/A.
I Do It - 3.5/5. Solid single and decent song overall.
My Last - 3.5/5. Not phenomenal but it's a grower.
Don't Tell Me You Love Me - 3.5/5. Very nice track.
Wait for Me - 4/5. Really solid standout track.
Marvin & Chardonnay - 4.5/5. I love this joint. Beat is tight, Roscoe Dash kills the hook.
Dance (Ass) - 2/5. Worst track on the album.
Get It (DT) - 3.5/5. It's a solid Pharrell produced track; kinda' throws off the album sound, but its a nice song.
Memories Part II - 4/5. Anything with John Legend is usually solid.
High - 3/5. - Doesn't really do anything for me.
Live this Life - 3.5/5. Very solid track. Again, usually anything with The-Dream is playable.
So Much More - 4/5. Very nice closer with some dope rhymes that are also personal. This is what album closers should usually sound like.

It's a decent a album. A lot of decent, playable songs with replay value and a handful of great tracks (Wait for Me, Marvin, Memories II & So Much More) and really only 1 BAD song (Dance).

Best tracks in order:

Marvin & Chardonnay
Memories Part II
So Much More
Wait for Me

I also grabbed the bonus tracks. Very worth grabbing if u haven't yet.

What Goes Around - 3.5/5. Very nice bonus cut. Apparently being used as a promotional single in certain places.
Celebrity - 3.75/5. Has a very nice slow mellow flow to it; for the girls but in a cheesy/poppy way. Dwele features and is dope.
My House - 3/5. Produced by super-producer Boi-1da. But it doesn't do much for me.
100 Keys - 4/5. Cool collab track with Pusha T and Rick Ross. Pusha kills it as always!

Calling boi-1da a super producer is pushing it lol

Calling boi-1da a super producer is pushing it lol
Drake, G-Unit, Kardinal Offishall, Birdman, Eminem, Rick Ross, Outkast, Bun B, Lil Wayne, Pimp C, Cassidy, Lloyd Banks, Flo Rida, Soulja Boy, Keri Hilson, Nicole Scherzinger, Young Jeezy, Bow Wow, Game, etc.

And he didn't JUST do ANY Eminem song, he did Em's LEAD single which sold over 3.4 million digital copies.

I think it's safe to say he's one of the biggest producers in hip-hop right now.

You could make a list like that for dozens of producers. He's got some hits under his belt but he's a long ways away from being a super producer.Dr.dre, timbaland those are super producers. Boi-1da hasn't even gotten to swizz beats status.

And that em single was one of the worst productions I've heard from a single. I literally can't listen to it for more then 10 seconds. And I'm not the only one to feel that way about that songs production
