In one of my open minded moments I decided to listen to an Aftermath song again. About the song... the beat is alright, but they picked the wrong rapper for it. Slim The Mobster might have a good voice for the phone and he might possibly have a good flow too, but his voice isn't meant for rap.
Xzibit could've sounded cool over a beat like this, but it sounds more like background music for a horror movie or something. It's not music for rap songs :-\
The hook is sounds cheap and the video looks even cheaper.

Dr. Dre gave him the chance and he took off from there. He build on his STAR/potential and is now a household name. So my question to you is how can YOU tell if someone has it or not?
