how the fuck do i know ? i dunno where you niggaz live but in Toronto i can walk downtown and see posters, i can go to the barber shop and cop mixtapes and dvds like juice,ambush tv all those dvds feature Canadian rappers so i know all who's poppin ...i guess the rest of canada is not like this but in toronto you hear these niggaz on the radio you see there shit on the streets,poster,most hip hop clothing store downtown sell Canadian hip hop mixtapes.you run into these niggaz all the time i used to see kardinal all the time....i run into red 1 from the rascalz and that nigga from Vancouver but he be out here,i seen classified once, point blank ..them cats be hustling selling cd's downtown ...i dunno how they do it in your cities but out here people know these cats

its probably cuz these dudes are from cites that don't really push Canadian hip hop so if they don't see it on much music or mtv canada they don't know about it..
i mean out here in Toronto is basically where everything is much music, and most of the major tv stations so artists from other parts of canada come here to do business and promote themselves so we hear about them....but some of these people on here is from places like Halifax where Canadian hip hop is not heavily promoted so they probably don't hear about these cats
for all the people in Canada that don't hear about these artists

I'm not here to hold rappers hands, drive them to the studio, see to it they record and submit tracks for the M.I.C. Series. Def Jam isn't going to send reps to there door to sign them, and I'm not going to knock at there door beggin' 'em for a track. It's 2009, time rappers stopped being lazy and did something for themselves. We could easily hand select every artist we want and exclude 99.99% of Canadian rappers, instead we leave it open to everyone to submit. If THEY do not take the initiative to do something for themselves that's not my problem. Ask them why they didn't submit or get involved, they're aware of the release they check HipHopCanada.
