just wondering why 'the game' and '50 cent' get props as bein gangsta for gettin shot....i'd say whoever shot them is the real gangsta :P

Thats just like saying going to prison makes you a gangster. how? anybody could do it. How bout all those kids who got shot at columbine? are they all gangstas? Damn it amazes me how dumb people are.

why is there this notion of being gangsta being such a great thing to be?
the product-of-your-environment stuff has some truth to it, and i even understand the bragging and boasting about it in the social context of the music/artists, but sometimes i find it sad how people with no relation to it at all start such discussions. Don't get me wrong, i'm not preaching or condemning artists who digest the circumstances they grew up under in that way, but why is a bunch of to a considerable extent white kids who are prolly mostly middle-class and far from ghetto discussing this shit like this? just asking myself

my homie anton got shot in the bak while inside of a car in the back right side the bullet hit him in the back and if it wasnt for him the homie in the front pass side wood have most likely died because it wood have struck him in the head thank goodness he didnt die tho hes a coo cat
