yo i do not care if this shit is played out, dont a hundred times before, gets heated or whatever......
right now which coast has more talent and current players in your opinion....i left the south out on purpose.....because the east/west beef got more history.....
so basically just judge your opinion on by which coast has more washed up rappers, a greater pool of rappers still in the game making moves....talented rappers or whatever.....just your opinion on what you prefer hearing right now?

For the most part, I'm really happy with the music the West is putting out right now.

Shit, that's a tough call. Every region has there own strong points. I'm from the East, so I voted for my home side, but I love music from everywhere dude.
I think Cali got the best up and comers, mostly because not mnay people outside of Cali know too much of there stuff. Of course we got Papoose, Saigon, Millz, Hood, Hell Rell and the South has guys like Killa Kayleone, Rich Boy, S.L.A.B., etc.
Cali has more washed up rappers imo, because they are still putting out material, mostly to negative feedback asside from there core audiences. Them washed up rappers from the east coast are just MIA, rarley putting out music. And I'm using washed up to describe a rapper who used to put out an album and have a video on regular rotation, but nowadays would be lucky to get a 30 second plug at 2 in the morining.
If i had to pick, I'd say the East Coast has the best lyricists, the West has got the best flows and starpower and the South has the most catchy, mainstream appeal.

if u take crooked i and sly boogy,matter of fact,if u just take crooked i and put him up against any rapper from new york,he a smah em lyrically in anything,on tracks,in freestyles or whatever,But the eastcoast got some dope rappers tho,i like some of AZ shit,fabolous got a nice flo also,cassidy be comeing nice at times,

10 years ago up untill 2 ago. Even living the east i was alllllllllllll westsiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide we hand the hand sign going when we saw each other ( well that stopped at 18 about lol)

The west for me.The heavyweights on the East Jay, Nas etc have put out good albums recently but overall i prefer the west. Real good albums from Murs, E40, Game, Snoop, Suga Free etc

I respect and enjoy alot of east coast rap but I don't feel I'm a queer for preferring more wested music. It's just a preference.
