These guys are extremely talented, people compare/describe them as a mix between The Fugees, Bone Thugs N Harmony & Chamillionaire..
From Wikipedia:
"Rock City are a US-based Caribbean-R&B singing, rapping, and songwriting duo, composed of brothers Timothy and Theron Thomas, who go by the stage names of Don't Talk Much and Da Spokesman.
..they managed to get to the U.S. mainland where they started performing in talent shows, Rock City was later banned from talent shows because they were winning too much."
I took their 10 mixtapes and their released singles & cameos and chose the best, was planning 20 tracks, but it was too hard to choose, so it's 30 tracks, the last 4 are features.. all good quality & no DJ.

i'm going to listen to the Rock City version of "Over (Takeover)" over Drake's for the rest of my life lol.
these guys are sick, they could blow up; the hook work could make them go big.

Thanks for checking.. I was sleeping too, until I heard their 4th dope cameo, and decided to check their whole discography.

Word, I've never heard a group with both rap & singing skills, they're extremely versatile.

Yeah, I agree.. it's too bad, these guys got more than enough talent to blow.
But at least their getting paid by making songs for Akon, Britney, Pussycat Dolls, T.I., Busta Rhymes, Usher, etc. etc.

give me something else than zshare and I'll try it ;)

They've been working on their debut album "Wake the Neighbors" forever, but no release date yet.. mixtapes released on a regular though, the "PTFAO"-series. (Put The Fuckin Album Out)
But they're working with nearly everybody in the biz with a platinum plaque to their name, so they're busy.

^thank you, my good man. ;)

I did, i downloaded it. I can see how you can compare the two in terms of their hook game, But in my own opinion i consider Drake to be superior.

Drake is mainstream garbage. He raps exactly like what he was,a wanna be lil wayne from the suburbs with an annoying voice.I could understand liking him if your a 13 year old white girl, because thats his target audience, anyone else liking him needs to look in the mirror and grow some balls.
-
lol
his voice is.....annoyin'...lol...and he jus wants to be wayne

Well, I didn't mean for the topic to be Drake vs. Rock City, I was just inspired after hearing Rock City murk "Over" and "Forever" 20 times better than Drake did any of them.
So we can let Drake be Drake, and discuss this CD, drop your thoughts on the compilation y'all..
If anybody is interested, I can up a bonus package of Rock City tracks with production from Darkchild, Bangladesh, Mad Scientist, The Hipnotiks and a feature from Busta Rhymes.

Shameless self-bump.. thoughts after listening through some times?
Now that Jonathan J.R. Rotem is producing for them, they might have a better chance of blowing up.
