Bah these rumours have been around for ages, also EA is strongly persuing sega as well, either is just as likely,

And sega hardly sucks, the 2k3 sports series' were great,

And itd be a huge move to lock those up as exclusive.

speaking of monopoly,who was the company that ran everything in gaming in th e80s and forced developers to make games for their system....i think it started with nin and ended with tendo  ;D

Sega is making games now, it would be a smart move of Microsoft to buy that & expand the amount of games on Xbox because its not a too big collection comparing with Playstation 2

What's with all the Sega hating on here? Sega are prehaps the greatest game makers ever alongside Nintendo, and although their recent systems haven't been commercially sucessful there have been plenty of amazing games on them. They wouldn't sell up to EA because they quite rightly hate EA, but I think it would be a very good move for Microsoft to buy them up, and it would certainly persuade me to buy an X Box over a PS2 or a Gamecube.
