RIP Slip Capone.
I had the pleasure of recording a few songs with him, with several unreleased so far. He was the most down to Earth & Normal one of them all that I had to deal with. Even after a year or so he owed me a 16Bar verse, he came thru with that & a New one for me!. So many of these guys I've dealt with are way too loose, Slip Capone was the main guy who stuck out for me. His verses were too easy to work with as well. I always wanted to do songs with him since I heard him & CPO Boss Hog on the Murder Was the Case soundtrack. He knew exactly what he was doing & what was going on, & will always be Chris Kelly to me.
Rest in Peace Slip Capone.

Was Slip's "Caponey Boy" an official album from him? I know there was a couple songs on there that wasn't his songs originally, so i always thought that it was a compilation like his "Greatest Features" CD. I would love to check it out anyway, but i can't find it anywhere.

He put out his material from LAC. It's his album called Caponey Boy. Unfortunately the quality mediocre at best.

Sounds quality. For example that song Doin' The Most ft. Dr. Dre, Knoc, and Timebomb sounds worse on Caponey Boy than it did on the leaked advance of Knoc's Landin.
