I thought Balance and Options was one of Quik's best CD's, yet in alot of interviews i've read, he said he 'wasn't trying' very hard and that he just through a bunch of crap together to piss off Profile and get off the label. Yet, he said he put his heart and soul into Trauma and Under The Influence, and they aren't that great. There are a few standout tracks on each CD, but nothing compared to Balance and Options. So if he can make a CD like Balance and Options by not even trying, i think he should continue that way :). Thousand bucks says if that CD would have blown up, he wouldn't have been saying that.

Hell Yeah, it's one of the most under ratted albums, period! I love that album, Quik came hard on it. I can still to this day, listen to that cd from start to finish, plus add the new songs from The Trauma Mixtape, and a blunt, and you're good to go.
