I'd be more tempted to buy if was all new material but new slaughter house will be good. Interesting to see a new d12 track also.

The tracklist looks very good.  It's good to see that they haven't gone with loads of really obvious choices for the greatest hits disc (not as much Eminem as I thought there would be), and the disc of new material has a ton of promising tracks.  I'll definitely be getting this.

yep.  I just wish there were a few more Slaughter songs but I like the Bad Meets Evil song.  that probably brings some more attention to the group since this shit drops in time to be an Xmas present

pointless?

this most likely will cost the same price as a single disc CD   (remember the days of when double discs use to go for 25+ at the big name stores?  lmao)

and that second CD is full of mostly classic music....it's classic music + yelawolf basically.  i was shocked to see no SSLP, MMLP or Eminem Show material but I guess Eminem correctly figures everyone has that shit by now.

i wonder what the Lose Yourself demo sounds like, must be different if they released it as the bonus song.

I guess its only shady records hits because there's a ton of music left off... It should have been mainly Em and 50 greatest hits. Surprised there's not much from Obie first joint on there as that was a classic to me had joints for days at that time it was huge for a artist not named 50 cent

Disk 2:
1. 50 Cent - 'I Get Money'
2. D12 - 'Purple Pills'
3. Eminem - 'Lose Yourself'
4. Obie Trice, Kuniva, Bobby Creekwater, Cashis, & Stat Quo - 'Cry Now'
5. Yelawolf (feat. Kid Rock) -'Let's Roll'
6. Slaughterhouse - 'Hammer Dnace'
7. 50 Cent - 'Pimp'
8. Eminem, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, & Cashis - 'You Don't Know'
9. D12 - 'My Band'
10. Obie Trice - 'Wanna Know'
11. 50 Cent - 'Wanksta'
12. Obie Trice (feat. Nate Dogg) - 'The Setup'
13. 50 Cent - 'In Da Club'
14. D12 - 'Fight Music'
15. Yelawolf - 'Pop The Trunk'
Bonus Track: Eminem - 'Lose Yourself' (Original Demo Version)

That's downright embarrassing. Who the FUCK came up with that? I'd almost take every single song off MMLP & 90% of every single song off SSLP & The Eminem Show over what they put together here. Disgusting.

the thing i was wondering more so is why so much Obie?

i see with purple pills, lose yourself, hammer dance, wanksta, in da club and fight music.  and ya know what?  i'll even throw in My Band on that list.  and i agree with putting Yelawolf on there but multiple songs??  and you don't even use the song he did with Lil Jon??   weird.

Obie Trice must have pictures of eminem doing something to someone....

I never bought an obie album or yelawolf album so i guess those songs would be new to me or songs i only heard a few times.

i still don't see why honkey Yellaboy gets more play on both CDs than the Slaughter.  They did better than he did by far, am i right??  i guess Yela needs more help.

oh and i still wish there was any of Em and Dre's collabos on there.

This will probably sell high numbers based on the bonus track

Slim is putting it out as a collectors item. He's probably put loads of wack shit on there to keep the royalties low

I'm thinking there isn't much older eminen material because he's already released a greatest hits with the majority of those popular songs on it. But I'm definitely surprise there isn't anything from 'cheers' also surprised fight music from devils night isn't on it.

Lookin' forward to hearin' the first CD. I wonder who selected songs for the second CD?

"The Setup" is on there (from "Cheers") and "Fight Music" is on there too. Both are on the second CD.

you know it was probably some dumb fuck at interscope, no way Em puts this together.  if he did he was high.

Reason for no Eminem from his solo albums is simple.  They did not come out on Shady.  They came out on Aftermath.  8 Mile Soundtrack was on Shady as were D-12 projects.

lol, y'all do realize that Eminem is not signed to Shady Records right? This is a Shady Records release not an Aftermath release.

Just like how 50 Cent was signed to Shady/Aftermath but not G-Unit Records.

Eminem can only drop D12, Bad Meets Evil and compilation albums on Shady Records, not his solo's, so the songs from it can't be on his greatest hits disc.
On the other hand Aftermath can drop any Eminem verse on greatest hits albums 'cause Eminem always appears "courtesy of Aftermath Ent.".

you're going by technicalities, my nigga

Em, if he so chose, could release whatever the fuck he wants and nobody at interscope or aftermath is gonna say shit cuz he's their cash cow.

Yes, but by purposes of technicality, he is choosing to put out the best of music released on his Shady Records catalog, of which his solo albums are not considered a part of.
