Looking at DubCNN's "Most Anticipated Albums of 2008" list really has me even more hyped. Here's their list, with the westocast artists' bolded:
Anticipated Albums for 2008:
Dr. Dre - Detox
Bishop Lamont - The Reformation
Crooked I - B.O.S.S.
Glasses Malone - The Beach Cruiser
Lil Wayne - Carter III
Raekwon - Only Built For Cuban Linx 2
Snoop Dogg - Ego Trippin'
Ice Cube - Raw Footage
Omar Cruz - Sign Of The Cruz
Murs - Murs For President
If we got either "Detox" or "B.O.S.S." in '08, that'd make my year for hip-hop for sure, but imagine if we got both of those....as well as "The Beach Cruiser", Omar Cruz's debut, "Ego Trippin" will be coming in March, etc. Gonna be a great year!

also, if we get Spider Loc's album by December, then that would be nice as well ;D

B.O.S.S and Detox are tha two I'm looking out for up here in Vancouver! I'm actually really wanting to see that Crooked album drop officially, cuz we know that even if it's 10 years down the line Dre'll drop, but we still haven't seen 1 Crooked album and that's got the top spot here, wanna see how big of an album it is.

Don't forget about Eastwood and his homie Live Wire - they should also drop albums in 08...aswell as Tha Realest - I know a lot of people hate on him because of 'Pac but his album got some serious potential when it goes to people that's gonna be on it...I mean, there's Fat Joe, WC, C-Bo, Yukmouth, B-Legit, Richie Rich, Crooked I, Bad Azz, Outlawz, Dru Down and others so don't sleep on this!

I'm not sure whether any of those artists like Dre, Quik and Warren G will drop in 08, I hardly doubt that. But it's time for a new Nate Dogg record.
Del the funky homosapien seems to be dead, his album ain't anticipated no more. He should have released it in 2006 and didn't. 2007 was somethin like "man, release it or fuck it and retire" for me.
Oh, and I believe that Roscoe & Kurupt album will be bangin!
Also hoping for a nine inch dix album.

Livewire is wack. Eastwood is on the same boat as the rest of these artist. And Tha Realest? Lmao nigga no way! His album has been "coming soon" longer than Untouchable / Say Hi to the Bad Guy / BOSS / Boss Music. He should've struck while the iron was hot. He should've dropped when Pac first died. But now we've been getting unreleased Pac albums for years so no one cares about that imitation.
