Title: Reading
Post by: DonCorleone187 on April 20, 2003, 11:43:15 PM
anyone here read or got any good books that they have recently read?  i don't read in fact i can't remember the last book i read, but i want to expand my mind and knowledge.  the main reason i don't read is because i don't know what to read so if anyone could help me out on a good book that would be tight.

I suggest 'The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind' by Dr. Joseph Murphy, I really like this book.
'The Celestine Prophecy' by James Redfield is good too..

I aint read many recently myself, been to caught up with other stuff, but I wanna goto the library soon and check out a few book, espically 'The Art of Happiness: A Handbook for Living' by Dalai Lama

It really depends on what you are interested in though..

Couple of books I've read recently:

1984 - George Orwell (might be my favorite book ever)
Revolutionary Suicide - Huey P Newton (Co-Founder of the Black Panthers)
Plato for Beginners

and I just started to read a book on Castro. Next I want to read the Clockwork Orange.
