There's an article on this game in the new EGM, basically sayin that it's coming out for xbox2 as well as xbox and those screens are representative of actual gameplay screens from the xbox2 version. 8)

sure it can...EA has a habit of having great ideas but fumbling them in the end

and this game has been officially announced for PC, Xbox, PS2 and PSP
