9.5/10
Get rid of the stupid skits in the way and you have a flawless album.

Theres already thread on this i didnt see it on the listings and somehow must of missed it when i searched for it. Still a great album like this deserved a fresh review.
-
to the point......9.8/10
i do it to the point and anything above 9.5 is classic. I agree with you full cept bump "Dre Day" and "Lil Ghetto Boy" up to 4.5's. I like em but they aren't up to par with the rest of the album.
-
10/10 but theres no need for skits on albums..
-
The Pyramid skit is dope, doctor's office is superfluous, but still this is one of the maybe 4 or 5 album's i'd give a perfect 10/10

2. Dre Day - The Compton and Long Beach duo tag team against some enemies. Dre blasts a full clip at his old Compton homie Eazy E, Snoop Dogg bites a chunk out of the South Bronx nigga Tim Dog and the duo save thier finishing move off the top ropes to execute on Miami's gap toothed Luke Campbell. All this whilst Jewell sings her ass off to some circling rhythmatic bass. This song led to a very funny video and plenty of scathing revengeful diss songs. 4/5
Didn't you know that Dre and Snoop were dissin' Ice Cube too on ''Fuck Wit Dre Day'' ? Anyway greatest track on the album...my 2nd favorite album of all times...

9.5/10 ... One of the best rap album's ever
-
One thing that always struck me was how cocky them dudes were and how much shit they talked. Dr. Dre and the Dogg Pound had to be the cockiest group of hip hop artists ever assembled but damn did they not make the best hip hop music ever recorded or what?
The chronic no doubt is one of the best rap albums ever recorded. 10/10 easy.
-
they werent cocky.

they werent cocky.
You don't think they were?
Snoop issued a challenge to any New York rapper that wanted to battle. If that ain't cocky, I don't know what is. Them cats would get on the mic on the radio or even Snoop on Arsenio, talking shit, dissin Easy E or whoever else they felt like dissin. All the diss tracks they recorded, etc

Everything is 5/5 but id give "A Nigga witta gun" a 4/5.
The # 1 classic of the 5 Classic Westcoast Albums
1. The Chronic
2. Straight outta Compton
3. All Eyez on Me
4. DoggyStyle
5. Bow Down
To me a "Classic" Album refers to an influenital album from back in the day. It does not nessicerley mean the best or my favorite albums of all time.
