The only thing I wanted is a couple of teams who we haven't played against over the last 5/6 years.

Who do we get? Man Utd and Villarreal.

Arguably the hardest group in the tourny, all 4 teams are good enough to go through, I can't wait to see El Nino return to Atletico should be a good match.

To be honest, I think I could comfortably predict the 2 teams to qualify from groups A and B. That's it.

I think groups G (Arsenal are dodgy in europe)(edit: Arsenal are dodgy anywhere)and H are the toghest in there, although Barca's group could be nasty

you  should be lucky that you didn't get Werder... Bremen is at least as difficult as Porto under normal circumstances. not that you couldn't beat Bremen but they're very dangerous.
Group D and H look pretty tough

Back from the game, fucking devastated.

Outplayed? Yes. Minority of possession? Yes. Minority of shite, wayward shooting/woeful efforts on goal? Yes.

But the facts are: we switched off for 5 seconds and it cost us.

We didn't deserve to win but we coulda, again. Bitterly disappointed but I would have taken a draw before the game.

Just not like that, not like that.  >:( :-\ :'(

You mean 4/5 Scudetti and a Champions League like Capello with AC Milan back in the days.... don't you? ;D C'mon now, you know Inter doesn't win it since 1965. They still showed games on tv in black & white.. you can't be serious saying you don't care about it, when Moratti signed Mourinho to win it.

The tie is a long way from over but you can't ask for much more from the 1st leg. Lopez looked good and Porto have the advantage.

o ya, 2 away goals is key. we should have won 2-1 if our goalie wasn't retarded. i'm not very worried. lopez is killing it, 6 goals already in this tourney. no way they'll hold us off the board in portugal and plus a 0-0 or 1-1 tie does it for us

do not under estimate my boys 8)  Lisandro Lopez is scoring goals just as well as anyone in CL so far (2nd place with 6 goals) and Lucho Gonzalez is a very skilled mid fielder. Rolando in a few years will be one of the best defenders in the world and will be playing for a very high ranked club (remember his name).

Hulk and Raul Merieles also provide very good offense

we will give Utd a run for their $

Bullshit mate. The ball hit the inside side netting, no goalie would have saved that. Then again very few players would have taken it on from that distance, 40 yards. Credit where credit is due, a fuking immense goal.

Mouth watering (great cliche by the way) semi finals, cant wait.

Im just looking at facts chelsea scored 7 goals over the two legs where as liverpool scored 5  ;)

The second leg first half liverpool were def the better team but other than that i dont see where they were better.

oh well evens up the dodgy penalty they got against spurs

Dont think so as the spurs penalty evened up the clear penalty we didnt get against everton.

Men against boys last night. Plenty of arsenal fans calling for wenger to go on the radio after the game, i see what wenger is trying to do but he has dismantled a great side and doesnt seem to be able to see what the whole world can.

He needs experienced players and a spine to the team,  yes that will cost money but the arsenal board did say "We have got plenty of financial firepower to make the transfers Arsene wants to make. We had over £70 million of cash at the end of the year, and if Arsene wants to spend that money we will make it available."

Have to feel sorry for Fletcher tonight, i missed the sending off but apparently it was a fair tackle?
rosetti is an asshole,it was a fair tackle no doubt

It was a great tackle...I think the ref was fooled by Fabregas' reaction and didn't notice the ball change direction.

uhuh...you still need a 100 odd decisions to go against you before your any where near even

Typical Liverpool fan with your ABU attitude, you were probably celebrating when Everton beat us.

You have to be in it to win it and thats a fact  ;)

ABU = Anyone But United , even supporting Everton the rival team in your own city in a cup you were no longer in.

The league is obviously different as you have a faint/slim hope that you can win the league which must be getting smaller by the day so i can understand that.

If chelsea beat barca you will be wanting them to win the final wont you.

Great goal, 8 touches from one end of the pitch to the other in 15 seconds.

Like you said earlier great desire from Ronaldo to go from one penalty area to the other and then calmly finish.

Great play from Park and Rooney picking the right passes at the right times also

i explained above why i wanted everton to win that game...plus if they win a trophy they may actually enjoy their success for a while instead of begrudging ours(granted wont last long)  ;D

and if its chelsea manu final...i probably wont watch it...hate both teams equally...be a 1-0 win or penaltys anyway so i wont be missing much

but c'mon barca!!!!

you'd be suprised what 15 odd games against each other in 3 seasons can do for a rivalry

also any team that has drogba joe cole john terry cashley cole and malouda in has to be pretty high in the "teams i despise" list

but dont get me wrong i hate utd as much if not more
