I'm glad they went w/ the PSP interface thingy. The PSP screen is too small to surf the net, even though you can adjust to fit.

Can't wait to get my PS3 in 2009 when it's more affordable, lol.

You think they will sell it below $399 for a 20 GB PS3 ?

Shit dunno, $399 sounds about right......just checked the New Zealand prices - 60gb going for NZD $1199.00, 20gb for $999.00, our dollar is roughly USD 65c.

^Yeah, they've got plenty of Blue Ray films out.  They're all made by Sony pictures, don't know why that is.... must be 10 or 12 of them.

It'll be kewl to surf the net using the PS3, but I'd rather use a comp to do.....computer things, lol.

It'll be interesting to see where all 3 systems end up in 5 years time

in 5 years..  MS and nintendo will be dropping their next gen which will at least be in line with  a ps3.. M$ should be far beyond by then since there is barely a different now as it is.. whereas sony say they have a 10 year plan for the ps3.. whereas everyone else is down to faster cycles.. they can adapt to changes.. "what if" wii changes the game like some expect? ms can fix that in a few years..  they can follow and try to set trends..

HDTV doesnt have it, so its not a big deal.

that makes no sense.

studio linked exclusivity means that certain films wouldn't be available on HD-DVD and people would be forced into blue ray if they had a HD setup and were fans of a particular movie.

sony is always trying to breed exclusivity into their products and trying to swindle people into supporting their formats. this is why their formats have never suceeded.
