Only the grimiest cat in the history of R&B. Ladies and gentlemen, Bobby Womack y'all. The man who deserved every time he got stomped out and then some:

This is the R&B equivalent of BIG freestyling Long Kiss in LA just before he got clapped. Its that foul if you know the deal. Still knocks but heeey...

song contains sample from "i wish he didnt trust me" of Bobby Womack but its not Bobby who sings the chorus on "trust me".

I'm saying, the whole Sam Cooke and Bobby Womack thing was foul. So foul. Bobby Stanned Sam almost as bad as Jay did Nas but in the physical he took it way over the line with his antics and then to drop it a song? Sheyit.... And you thought "Thats why I gently caressed your partner, you obese maternal carouser" was scathing. This man turned up at his friends funeral in his Rolls, with his wife wearing his clothes. SMH.

These old time cats were on a whole nother level of "realness". Look at James Brown and Joe Tex, once again over a chick.

"You keep her" :tupac: James Browns busts his guns way more than any pant sagging buffoon studio gangster would have you believe they do. Can I get a Hell Yeah?

I'd love to know who did all the background vocals and choruses
Unfortunately the credits are not complete alot of times, if there even are any (digital stuff)
This was one of those I figured out randomly after probably listening for the 100th time to the song
If you know it, it's so fucking obvious, you wonder why you didn't figure it out earlier *lol*

discogs.com gives names like Shy Felder or Traci Nelson (https://www.discogs.com/fr/release/3922575-Snoop-Dogg-Paid-Tha-Cost-To-Be-Da-Bo)
