hey both these countries have oil and so far Bush lifted almost all sanctions placed on Libya in 1986, and while Sudan has alot of oil, america wants them sanctioned
kind of throws off the whole Jew/Oil company conglomerate conspiracy theory alot of you had about the US

no i understand them perfectly...Libya stopped all actions of looking to make nuclear weapons and also said it would be open for inspections and now they don't get invaded or bombed....and they have oil
Sudan has oil and the US wants to sanction them but china doesn't want them sanctioned because china gets alot of oil from them...if Sudan gets sanctioned, then no one gets their oil
now you can feel free to throw in your anti semetic conspiracy theories in here but what i've layed down is fact

Libya has been working on resuming diplomatic ties for a while, it has paid through the nose in compensation for the families of those they sponsored terrorists acts against it also libya gave up its WMD programs hence welcomed back into the international community. It was for the sponsorship of terror and WMD programs that Libya had sanctions placed against them now they have resolved those issues sanctions can be removed.
With Sudan no one wants to see another Rwanda, previous resolutions havn't done much to control resolve the situation, hence the need for sanctions to force the governemnt to act. the government who are current bombing the black african rebels and they also unleashed the janjaweed on them, and now they want to disarm the rebels before before they negotiate, but look in the rebels perspective they have been oppressed and neglected for some time and now the enemy will only negotiate after they disarm them after which they will have now bargening power again. If you ask me britain should resume control of the old colony and resolve the situation effically as the sudaneese government have little interest in doing so.

i mean Libya has oil, terrorists and nuclear weapons, we got them to cut down on terrorists and stop their nuclear weapons project...seems like a perfect time to attack them
and no one's saying shit about china not wanting to do anything to Sudan. they're one of the few countries that doesn't want Sudan sanctioned...and that's because of oil
