Mid-Nite Hour shits all over TBCT in my hard opinion. That album was so fucking solid, there was only about 3 tracks I wasn't feeling! Props to Warren for being a one man army
-
I like TBCT way better even though it had like 3-4 bad songs on it but its still more playable than 'In The Mid-Nite Hour' for me. I can only stand to listen to less than half of 'In The Mid-Nite Hour'.
-
That's exactly how I felt the first few times i bumped mid-nite hour. But last night, I was faded and gave it a complete spin and that album grew so much on me
-
Lyrically- BCT: Snoop was in a zone on almost every track
Beats- ITMNH: More consistent. BCT had some dope beats but it was all over the place on the 2nd half of the album.
Overall IMO: BCT

I don't mean this in a nasty way but whats the point to this thread. They are not exactly similar albums.
But while i'm here i vote for TBCT.
-
Midnite Hour for me cuz its better and g-dubb is indy and snoop is major and g's is just better
-

so you're saying whenever albums are compared, they have to be similar to each other?
okay. both of these albums are west coast and dubcc IS a west coast forum WITH west coast related topics.

Subject/Topic Wise : Midnight Hour
Beat wise : Tha Blue Carpet Treatment
Flow Wise : Tha Blue Carpet Treatment
Lyrically : I will have to listen to Midnite hour again

Fair enough. Personally I thought it was a bit random.

Mid Night Hour for me. Can bump that CD straight through where BCT simply has way to many wack filler tracks
-
def bct...but both cds arent that great
-
Blue Carpet Treatment, both album had fillers, but were overall dope...
-

what are you talking about ?

Mid-Nite Hour is boring to me...
-
Hard to choose actually. Off the cuff I'd say Blue Carpet Treatment, but when I think about it, I'm not so sure anymore. Both are dope.
But your gut feeling is usually the right one, so I'll go with Snoop's album. Although I gotta say BCT has some tracks that are straight up filler that I don't feel at all, while Midnite Hour hasn't got those type of tracks in my opinion. Not that every track is excellent on there, 'cause they aren't, but IMO they're all good.
Damn, it's a close call. I'm still not sure.

none
8) 8) 8)

Tha Blue Carpet Treatment for me. Some of Snoop's better records.
I don't like Mid Nite Hour at all , the 213 album is way better than Warren's solo effort.
-
lol mid night hands down
-
Neither i thikn both artists are past there prime but if i owuld have to pick one that i played more often it would def be tbct
-
TBCT easily for me. Didn't care for "Midnight Hour."

i agree, i understand why the album got hate, cause it wasnt the usual g funk sound from warren but the album was bangin
-
I would go for TBCT, since i'm more of a snoop fan than i'm of a Warren G Fan!
But i like warren G more as a producer!
I've only really heard a few tracks off Midnite Hour
Would have to go back and listen to Warren's Album, then get back to you on this!!
