the funniwat pRT ABOUT IT IS THAT I KNOW BRZ....LMAO! ;D
-
the albums release in australia was unauthorized and now the bootlegging could very well push the album back....but for everyone buying the album from australia go ahead but the us release will have at least two extra songs and a dvd....
-
-Rap-Loc- There are too many send in progress right now and all queue slots are used.
:(
THNX for the hook up man, I hope ill be able to get it soon, but I wont forget to BUY IT and do the same hommies
-
I hope I speak for a majority of peeps who actually buy albums when I say this:
it really don't matter that much if a album hits the net early and gets downloaded. If you are going to buy the album, you will buy it regardless. I have bought at least 100 albums since I got into this internet thing, and I could have just as easily d/l all of them and burned them. I am in the process of d/l this album, but I will still buy it the day it drops here in the US. I really don't think the internet hurts sales all that much. Probably 10-20% at the most. anyone remember last year the day that the eminem show hit IRC? I had never seen IRC so busy with peeps d/l it. Yet he still sold millions of copies. D/L music is something that can't be stopped, so artists need to stop fucking complaining about it and make music great enough that people want to buy the album.

can someone hook me up with this through MSN or an FTP?

Word 2 that...
-
i would download it .. but there's one bot with it on .. heh.
-

The album sales could suffer from that.. :-\
They should rather rush it in stores, as they did with 50 & Eminem..
Adding a DVD might help the sales though..
-
Wow, this is so bomb!!!! All I gotta say iz.. I WANNA HEAR IT!! But on the subject of bootlegging.. I must admit, since I've been forcing myself to not turn on the computer (two months off..) I have been spending more money on music and DVD's. Cuz I still gotta hear new beats so off to the store I go..
(Currently.. catchin up on Bay shit. Im on some Big Hollis Produced shit right about now.. focusing on buyin all Out Of Bounds releases.. if anyone was interested..)
Theres nothing like having the OG in hand, reading the credits while bumpin some new shit over a beer. Downloading cant provide that but on the flip side.. I aint gonna lie.. I don't buy as many albums or go out of my way when shits availble online. It's just human nature I guess and ya'll KNOW IT!!!!!
So dont be so hard on yourself.. Just do your best and pick shit up what you can.. Aint too many fans like us so be down to be around. Buy OGz.

He shoulda left the album title
"Dat Nigga Daz: Nigga I'll Beat Yo Ass"
-
Daz is strange. In the beginning, he was a dope producer, and a mediocre rapper. Now he's turned into a dope rapper, and a mediocre producer.
His flows are getting better, and better, I think.
-
Oh, and why is everybody sleepin' on Snoop's verse on this thing? He destroys it, again.

true that man his verse was fire!!!!!!!!!!

I like daz old rapping and flows way better. He used to be my favorite rapper. I like his old production way better too.
yeah and snoop comes tight on that fire song.
-
The only daz stuff I liked better than his recent stuff was his old i'm 17 years old wants to sound just like snoop stuff on the chronic. Anything after Doggystyle I think has been getting progressively better.
-
DAZ DIDN'T PRODUCE THIS!!!!!!!
you guys are saying daz production skills have fallin off but you really talking about fred wreck, soopafly, and mike smoove
-
for me this is one of the best album Daz have put out I got that fire is off the hook!!!! :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
-

I know daz didn;'t produce any. I luv the beats on this album, they are way sick. I am sayin I like daz early production style (dogg food, rr&gb) better than recent stuff (life I lead, and other shit)

The album is dope in every way, dope beats and dope flows...
-
its ok... few tracks i dont like.... daz reusing *a lot* of his older vocals again which i dont like.
'i got dat fire' with snoop and e-white is tight as fuck... they all come tight.. esp snoop.
the song 'u know what..' is cool too, dogg catcha is aiight for a p-funk rip off, and the thing about old vocals pisses me off on this... aint too keen on much else apart frmo mayb all night long... i'mma fussy one anyways.....

I didn't say he produced it. I was mainly talking about his flow, listening to the new album I noticed his flow is even better than before. In the old days, he was a better producer than rapper, now he's a better rapper than producer. He's produced stuff recently, and I liked the old stuff better.

-
Yeah, tight for the few songs I've heard, I can't get it on mirc because everything's slammed.
-
damn........this album is tight!!! DAZ sounds dope and the beats are tight!!! the track u know what im throwing up is TIGHT!!!! that song is dope!!!
dope beats and dope lyrics!!!! DPGC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Lovin this cd. Really feelin the beat to Skirt out for some reason. Probably the whistles. 4/5 if you ask me on the cd overall
-
Ive got till track 11 and its still one hell of
a cd. i like 'all night long' 'aint nuthin but a
gangsta party' (this ryan guy sounds good),
dogg catcha, skirt out and 'u know what...'
all good tracks. but i must say i hate the beat
in round n round we go. cant be daz.
4/5 overall. and i havent heard the best track
yet (i got that fire)
-
For sure...this album was tight...not my most favourite album this year but good...only couple songs lacked, overall a tite package :)
pZ
-
i was bumping this today...agree with pretty much what others have stated...5 really dope tracks...5 average...5 shitty..not sure how i would rate it...his second best album behind rr&gb
-
his second best album behind rr&gb
wait a min...are u saying that this album is his second best?...if so...then u gotta be kiddin me...R.A.W is alot better then this album...espically production wise...that DPGC album is missin that hardcore, gangsta shit...theres all these club/party tracks on that shit...shit is wack...but then again since daz didn't produce this...i could understand that...

yea...RAW is way better...
this DPGC album got a lot of neptunes / timbaland beat-a-likes on it...

Soopafly is doing this kind of beats. I don't liek those beats either. anyway there are still a lot of dope ass songs on this album!
-

Yeah thats My opinion. Theres a few tight tracks, and a few shitty ones..but there arent any outstanding tracks IMO. Sure I got That Fire is a cool song but I dont see whats so special about it. Anyway, Daz should have put those tracks together with the songs from the "I Got Love In These Streetz" album and throw out one album, and it would be much better.
-
Personally, I like This Is The Life I Lead alot better. It had tracks like "Load Up", "Keep It Gangsta", "Gangsta Perogative", "Keep It Gangsta (Remix)", "Ain't That Somethin", & "Bitch Bitch Bitch, Make Me Rich". I think that Daz & Mike Dean did a really good job production wise on this album.
The only tracks that I think are tight on U Know What I'm Throwin Up is "I'll Beatcho Ass", "I Got That Fire", "Dogg Catcha", and "Ain't Nothin but A Gangsta Party Pt. 2". I'm not feelin the neptune style beats that Soopafly is doing at all :P.
As of right now, here is my list of Daz albums from BEST TO WORST:
1. Retaliation, Revenge, & Getback
2. RAW
3. This Is The Life I Lead
4. DPGC - U Know What I'm Throwin up
And what's up with everyone comparing Daz's new album to the Dysfunktional Family soundtrack? They are uncomparible. One is a Solo album the other is a Soundtrack. ::)
-
to me raw's lyrics and production sounded generic...the beats sounded like someone threw them toghther in their basement in a couple days...this life had no real good tracks..just a bunch of average.
-
yea...RAW is way better...
this DPGC album got a lot of neptunes / timbaland beat-a-likes on it...
Hell nah.. ;D
Beats on this DPGC album sounds nothing at all like Neptunes, and definately not like Timbaland.
You have "Fuck Neptunes & Timbaland" in your sig. but have you actually heard more than 10 beats of each ?
Or are you only using them as a example of producers you think are wack, cuz you said the same about Bad Azz's album, and that had nothing close to a Neptunes or Timbo-beat..
-
the beats were not wack, sure this is more party/gangsta, not as much hardcore but there ain't nothin wrong with that someimtes you just wannahere some shit thats still gangsta but you can bob your head to it too. daz has plenty of really hard core albums this was tight and a little different which is nice to add to the collection with the others
-

to me they sound definitly like timbaland & like the neptunes..
actually ive heard even more than 10 beats of each...
by lookin to the other posts, i think im not the only one...
listen to some beats again and you will hear the similarity..
the bad azz album is even more neptunes-a-like then this daz release..
oh yea hydro, i agree wit your daz rating list !!!
