this had been out for a good minute, even before it reached youtube

Great to see this album out on streaming platforms now. I remember this from back in 2002, and the rar file of this several years later with the “homie” song on there still (and the only one) of poor quality despite the rest being great quality. I doubt that has improved over the years but I’ve been out for so long I don’t know if that’s still the case?

What album out on streaming platforms are you referring to? This was just a single upload on YouTube.

The Daz and C-Style collection that this comes from. I remember it from back in 2002, then a couple of years later when one of their forum guys sold it. This track, the one with Nate Dogg and another with Erykah Badu (probably my favourite Crooked I track) came from this collection. I think a few others were out at the time back then because of the crossover with the early Untouchable album, that a couple on this forum had.
Rarely on the forums these days, and most of my music listening is via Spotify, so it’s nice to see these tracks on YouTube.

Do you have a link to the album on Spotify? I don’t see it on there

It's not on there, you misread his post. The track is uploaded to Youtube, there's no Spotify album

Sorry, I meant that I was glad to see the album out on a streaming platform (YouTube) however from what I gather, the entire collection wasn’t uploaded, only this track. I have been around since 1998, so was used to RA files on CD-Rs and old style (and incompatible with everything else) PC speakers to listen to a lot of material. I had a lot of CDs from that time, all boxed, “atticked”, with no chance ever having the time to go through all of that. I listen to Spotify now and YouTube music for convenience. Just really good to hear this track again, brings back so many fond memories of that time in life, so much more that just isn’t on YouTube music and Spotify that I hope to hear
