Talking about his Nigger/Untitled album.
I'm still just not feeling it. I got hyped when I heard the internet track he did with DJ Khalid and then that song wasn't even on the album. This album doesn't even fall within his top 5 albums, and I don't think there is any certified bangin joint on this album that you can put on repeat. Seemed like Nas was trying to be too much on this album, he's better off just being that dude on the corner that says a few deep words, gives you a pound and keeps going. Rather than trying to be this larger than life "Hero" superstar, it didn't work.
Nas' best albums...
1. Illmatic
2. Stillmatic
3. God's Son
4. It Was Written
5. Hip-Hop Is Dead
6. Lost Tapes
Nas weaker albums...
6. Streetz Disciple
7. I Am
8. Nigger/Untitled
9. Nastradaumus -- HIS WORST

I thought it was and still is a great album. But yeah when you put out so many albums as Nas has and match it up with some of his previous work, it is not as good, but still a great album overall.

Nas and Tip's albums are my albums of the year so far.
Nas made a great real Hip Hop album.
Tip made a great mainstream Hip Hop album.
-
I love it, still bump that shit.
-
Album of the year easily. Nobody droppin albums on Nas' level these days...
Love this album
-
I don't like it... it's not the album of the year.
TI and Cube released better albums.
-
TI sucks fuckin dick. Anybody that thinks he dropped album of the year gets their card revoked.

"Nas proved with Untitled that he's still by far the best MC in the game, his lyrics, song concepts and creativity after 17 years in the game simply puts all his contemporaries to shame." - Quote

Yeah, the album wasn't all that, but "Louis Farrakhan" is classic.
-
i havenīt listened to all of the tracks yet coz iīm not gonna download it, iīm gonna cop it sometime next week. but the records iīve heard have been dope, even We Make The World Go Round or whatever itīs called.
-
wasnt feeling it thats two in a row now hes slippin

slipping? are you serious? Hip Hop Is Dead was dope.
-
shit lol i forgot that..i was thinkin of streets disciple...though saying that hip is dead wasnt amazing
-
streets disciple was dope too. :)
-
I wasn't feeling it at all either. Way too cheesy, a major let down. only track i really liked was "hero" even though it was corny with him talking about being a hero even though the song consisted of average rapper boasting.
-
I liked untitled my list goes
Illmatic
It Was Written
Stillmatic
hip hop is dead
Lost Tapes
Gods Son
Untitled
I Am
Streets Disciple
Nastradaumus

Great album. Easily album of the year so far.
Nas and Andre 3000 is lightyears ahead of everybody as of right now.
-
This board dickrides Nas to high hell so of course you already know these niggas are gonna love it. It was an average Nas album and I agree with TC not in his top 5 best.

We just acknowledge quality

I really liked it, but there is no replay value. Haven't listened to it since it came out.

So Nas is the only quality rapper in the entire game. Sounds like straight dickriding to me.
-
I didn't like the album when it came out and still don't today.
-
very good album but not a ton of replay value.
regardless of all that, Sly Fox is one of Nas's best songs ever
-
I think it was a really good album, but it isn't something I want to bump non stop. But I can see myself listening to the record still for years to come, every once in a while.

Same. It seems like I do that more and more nowadays. I'll listen to an album 2 or 3 times, then just forget about it.

outbound, west coast section, it's the same shit; Nas can walk on water, but so can i ;)
anyway, i don't like the album; hip hop is dead was better imo.
