The WWE hooked up the ECW stars with some shitty ass music. They can afford the extra $$$ to buy the real music. Sandman's entrance ain't shit without "Enter Sandman".

No, I'm just being realistic here. The show sucked, you're just not man enough to admit it.
If they're gonna bring back ECW, do it right. I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt this time since they had so much to do in 1 hour, but I doubt most people will be as patient.
But hey, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the majority of people wanna waste their time with bullshit television like yourself. Who knows, time will tell.

Backstage Problems At ECW Show, Talent Sent Home

The reason that Tazz and The King’s match at ECW One Night Stand was shown last night was because the show actually ran short and they had to fill time. Cues in the battle royal were also missed, which caused the production team to fix the mistakes in the 90 minute window that they had after the taping ended to before it aired on TV.
Ring Announcer Steven DeAngelis was called to work the show but was told in the afternoon that he was not going to be used and sent home. WWE had told DeAngelis to come to the show and that he would be used however once he arrived they had changed their plans. Justin Roberts was used instead.
The debut ECW return show was written by Paul Heyman and then put through the WWE creative team who then edited it to how they think it should go. Paul Heyman does not have the entire control of the ECW brand as you saw last night. Vince McMahon wants the product how he sees it. Paul Heyman wrote last night’s show in order to to meet McMahon's expectations and visions of ECW.
People who saw Paul Heyman backstage at the ECW show said that it was pretty clear that he thought the show was a train wreck. Everyone in the company also felt the same way. Everyone knew that the show wasn’t how they wanted it to succeed and failed.

Smackdown is more family orientated - which ECW certainly isn't
Tape it on is it - afterall ECW is meant to be a separate brand from SD & Raw
Needs to improve for next week

What the fuck are you talking about? I am happy with the result of the match and the winner. The Big Show didn't win, I'm obviously happy. But why would I acknowledge that the overall show was a success when it was a BAD show? Even Paul Heyman though the show was a trainwreck. Yes, those are rumors, but they're never too far from the truth.
And since we're on the topic of bitching, I haven't seen you mention a single thing about the show. You realize this is a ECW thread right? Please, tell me what was so positive about that show?

It was a debut show. They got some kinks to work out. Overall, it will be a success if they move it to different venues and as long as Vince McMahon doesn't change Heyman's ideas too much.

if it was a smackdown or raw, it wudve been sumwut decent
but for an ecw show, they pushed mainly wwe-grown stars which was gay and ruined it

Moments after screwing Rob Van Dam out of the ECW Championship, Paul Heyman gave the following statement to ECW.com:
“As of this moment, Rob Van Dam has been suspended for 30 days.”
I approached Heyman immediately as he came backstage following the match to ask him why he screwed Van Dam. Heyman only smiled and offered the above statement. I followed him to ask him why RVD was suspended and why he was screwed out of the ECW Championship…but he only walked faster. When I finally got to his office door, Heyman slammed the door in my face.
Unfortunately, what should have been RVD’s holiday weekend homecoming went from bad to worse to downright horrible. On Monday morning, everything seemed cool as RVD walked into the Wachovia Center as both the ECW and WWE Champion; Tuesday night, however, he left the building with no gold and no job for a month.
After losing the WWE Championship to Edge in a Triple Threat Match on RAW, RVD also lost his ECW Championship to Big Show live on ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night. With the referee down, Van Dam seemingly had the match won after a Five-Star Frog Splash. Paul Heyman went to count the pinfall like he did at One Night Stand…but before he got to three, Heyman stopped and stared at RVD.
Van Dam looked like he had just lost his best friend, and as he and Heyman did some jaw jacking, Big Show recovered. He spun Rob around and nailed him with a chair, and after a vicious chokeslam on that same chair, ECW had a new champion.
And now, with the suspension levied by Heyman, it looks like RVD won’t have a chance to right the wrong he has been handed.

I'd almost bet money that they suspended him so he'd be forced to take time off. For years everyone in the WWE has been worried about Kurt's health, he's went through a ton of problems with his wife too, at one point they were getting a divorce almost solely because of Kurt's relentless pursuit of wrestling. He even issued a statement last year some time saying that no, he's not on his deathbed, lol while admitting that he wrestles with pain constantly because he's always got some injury he's nursing.

Canada's Slam! Wrestling is reporting that WWE's ECW brand will debut on the Global Television Network at Midnight on August 11. Slam! also reports that ECW will also air on the Xtreme digital channel on Saturdays at 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM as well as Sundays at 4:00 AM.
It was also noted that the "Global Television Network has also committed to adding both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown! to their programming lineup in Quebec, beginning with RAW on August 7 at Midnight on CKMI. SmackDown! will air on Saturday nights at 12:30 a.m. ET on CJNT starting on August 11."
The WWE Divas TV special on the USA Network has been moved from August 15 to the following day August 16 at 10 PM.

Yeah i think in do time tho, it will get better. Kurt angle is coming back so is Rvd. You got Sabu and Big show ( whos been doing a good job) Now Cm punk is gona debut, Sandman is ok and test is ok i guess. Its hard to develop storys tho in one hour.

next week on ECW, there is going to be a HUGE main event.
it will be a triple threat match; not just any ordinary match, but a ladder match; and what's at stake? the #1 contendership for big show's ecw title.
the competitors: RVD, Sabu and Kurt Angle.
sounds good "on paper"; hopefully the match will be great as well.

couple of points.
Big show dosent make a good champion in my opinion. He is better when he a heel chasing.

Balls Mahoney and Ryan O'Reilly have violated the drug policy. O'Reilly is w/ Deep South Wrestlnig and was wrestling in a tag team at ECW house shows; he ahs been suspended for 30 days. Mahoney will not be suspended, but will not get paid for 30 days except for road expenses and will not appear at any house shows as part of the new agreement of the treatment program.

Brad Armstrong (used to appear on WCW Saturday Night shows) has been signed to a contrract and is expected to wrestle for ECW, only at house shows though. He is 45 years old and is expected to help put over the younger guys.
