I'm disappointed that there are no Nate Dogg features on this, I guess Nate's comeback is gonna take longer than originally expected.

"Swagger Rich" is okay but the other leaked tracks have been garbage. I will check this out when it drops though.

Indeed, I think it maybe the label more so influencing it but who knows.

got no problem with people updating their sound, but when their attempt at something new is incredibly formulaic then its hard to be feeling it. yeah, it had some crappy tracks on it, but blaqkout is the perfect example of new, fresh sounding west coast music in '09.
this 'swapper rich' track is smooth enough, but its kinda corny. give me the freshness of 'hey playa' over this kind of thing.

Its not the number of tracks that concerns.Most albums would be better off with 13 tracks.Its just the tracklist looks terrible

It would be like Will Smith deciding do some gangsta shit in '96 cause it was the 'in' genre of rap at the time.
I won't completely judge this until I hear the full album but from all the songs that have come out he had one decent one which wasn't even single material.

An album that is doomed to fail if someone ask me, i got a 6th sense for that.
Well it's not like we didn't warn the g child way before this new project, we been fair & balanced.
There is not even "gioglos get lonely 2" which is by far the best track WG made recently lol man i tell you G just stop making lps & produce guys or something you're done in this business as a solo artist.
No nate dogg, no nothing...doomed to fail.

Wasn't Dre working close with Warren on G-Files Sounds more like if timbalnd was working close with him i mean i ain't gonna lie Swagga Rich sounds cool to me like a workout song something that i would hear at the gym. I ain't gonna lie Ive always been a G-Dubb fan i think after a few spins i will be all over this album maybe.

Not really buying the track listing. The 2 singles he pushed out Mr. DJ and Gigalo's don't appear? Wouldn't make any sense. I'm not so sure this album is even done. As for 2 weeks ago, he was still working on it.

I dont think swagger rich is wack but its not dopeness either. it sounds unfinished. im not really feelin the subject matter or the verses. i think if warren and snoop went back and forth more with their verses, it could be dope.
btw, ive heard the intro and west is back. sound dope as fuck.

I wasnt really feeling in the Midnight Hour except for a few songs, lets face it if Warren goes away from that sounds he has always been known for than he will flop :P :P :P on the other hand he can come up with some new fresh shit 8) 8) 8) for the 09.

Warren G said just some time ago in some new interview that there will be no Nate Dogg on it, but i guess he's on it now.

Good news, hope he's reading the feedback and switchs up the album. He had a lot of dope shit he did after Midnight Hour that could be on this album.
He should have the fans help him decide the tracklist, I'd a buy copy of the album knowing its the best of his material and it could help show other artists (like Snoop) how you can create some fresh stuff that people are going to like.

if you would see warren respond to fans giving a bit of positive criticism, he gets angry at them, and says he doesnt give a fukk what they think. so thats how it is. he choses to make a garbage pop album that wont appeal to his fanbase, and he thinks he is going to sell good numbers with this strategy.

Yah fo sho... He used to work with good artists then, Adina Howard, Tha Twinz, Phats Bossi... And Take ALook Over Your Shoulder was the best CD ever made!
Tha GFiles album wont even sell 10K Units. All tha tracks i heard on it suck.

warren g has the ability to make dope music, and he still got it, judging from some other songs which havnt been leaked that were played in the studio live on istream in the past. i heard the chorus to the nate dogg track in one of his ustream videos before, and it sounded pretty dope. and then to see that tracklisting without the nate dogg track, but all the wack songs that everybody hates like ringtone, crush and swagger rich, with only 13 tracks, is really shooting warren in the foot, with his very poor choices for the album.
